Why photography is an anthropological investigation?

The research scope of photography anthropology includes the historical, technical, artistic and social influence of photography, exploring the influence of photography on human society, culture and history, and the use and understanding of photography by human beings, so photography has the nature of anthropological investigation. Photography is an undergraduate major in China's colleges and universities, mainly studying basic knowledge and skills such as art, aesthetics, composition, photography and picture processing.
