The difference between water-based and oil-based varnish
As far as the varnish itself is concerned, there is not much difference. It is the difference between oil-based and water-based. Oil-based products require special diluent or ZIPPO lighter fluid. Water-based products do not need to be diluted with diluents, just dilute them with water. However, dilution with water will result in less adhesion than oil-based products. The effect of water-based varnish is like trying out the gloss agent in a spray can. Although the effect is not as good as oil-based varnish, the toxicity is relatively low.
It is best to mix luminous powder in oily varnish
