Competition classification and "gold content", how to distinguish ABC competition?

The classification and "gold content" of the competition, and the ABC competition can be distinguished as follows:

ABC competition:

In fact, there is no clear national official regulation on ABC competition, which is mainly divided by colleges and universities for the implementation of competition work (involving student awards, teachers' performance, awards and evaluations, etc.). ).

The division standard mainly depends on the organizer. Except for the competition sponsored by the education department and the Communist Youth League Central Committee, which must be Class A, the evaluation and identification standards of other competitions vary from school to school.

Some competitions are Class A in one school and Class B in another school; Some competitions are Class A in one province, and participating schools in other provinces do not recognize them at all; Some schools only recognize internet plus, Challenge Cup and Chuangqing as Class A, and some also recognize the competitions organized by the Provincial Department of Education as Class A. ..

National Class A: Ministry of Education, orXX Hall of XX Department of Ministry of Education, typical representative of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League: internet plus, Challenge Cup series, creating youth (these three items are certain Class A), service outsourcing, mathematical modeling, three innovation competitions and some typical subject competitions in the competition list (these depend on the school).

Provincial Class A: Provincial Department of Education, Communist Youth League Committee, Provincial Science and Technology Competition Committee: National A Competition; Certificates such as e-commerce contest, rural revitalization contest, professional rules contest and statistical contest were signed by Zhejiang University Student Science and Technology Competition Committee and Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Competition Network (Zhejiang Province only). For details, please refer to Zhejiang University Student Science and Technology Competition Network and Class A Competition of municipalities directly under the Central Government. Generally, it is only recognized as Class A in this province and city.

Class B: committees under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, some influential social organizations or associations, and typical representatives of relevant government agencies (prefecture-level): kab Micro-entrepreneurship Action, Aviation Innovation, Computer Design, Blue Bridge Cup, China University Student Computer Competition (including six sub-competitions such as Mobile Application Innovation Competition, Step Competition and Network Technology Challenge), Computer Design Competition, etc.

Class C: social organizations or associations, typical representatives of a university: English competitions, information literacy competitions and other competitions with less influence.

Not at all: a social competition organized by a company or a foundation.

In our school, internet plus and Challenge Cup are the only documents, followed by China's A>A province = country B, and the main reference is the competition bonus. The competition bonus in province A is the same as that in country B.

Of course, different schools are different, depending on the school's incentive policy.

Is the classification of ABC class equal to the gold content?

Personally, I don't think the standard of gold content can be measured by ABC alone. Some B-type competitions are indeed much more difficult than A-type competitions.

The measurement standard mainly depends on the social influence of the competition, the region where it is located and the matching degree with the major or post.

Class A competitions generally recognized by the society, such as internet plus, Challenge Cup and Creating Youth, are basically related to innovation and entrepreneurship. However, for those who want to work in law, photography, art design and other positions, some professional competitions rated as B subjects or even competitions that are not rated may be more useful.

For example, our school has designated a "Karl Marx Cup" competition in Zhejiang Province as a Class A competition. If you are not a related major or want to engage in political work, although it is a class A competition, it is of little use to your resume and employment.

For a local government, it may be more desirable for the project to land in the local area. For example, a competition between Hangchuang and Guangzhou called "Blue Plan" will give at least 50,000 yuan for projects with certain achievements, and the maximum will exceed 6,543,800 yuan, which will definitely be influential in the local area.

School and social recognition:

The school will issue special documents (the picture below shows part). If you need a full version of the reference, you can comment on the email, and I will send it to ZUFE and HZNU.

Of course, there may be some competitions that schools should not be involved in. For example, the computer design competition in our school is generally considered to be a national B level, but it may be because the teacher in charge of this competition did not apply for the project from the school and was not recognized by the school.

The Ministry of Education has a special competition list (generally speaking, it is right to see the top three of the Internet plus and the big and small challenge cups).

What competitions are not recognized but "worth" participating in (including "gold")

I define "less recognized" here as Grade B and below. This kind of competition generally takes the form of off-campus, that is, it is not recognized within the school, but it is not organized and notified. How to win college students' competition in this society? See the blog: Where can I find more information about the competition? What are the channels for obtaining competition information? It is recommended to participate in a competition with one of the following characteristics:

1. It's difficult, but there are many things like bonuses. For example, KAB Micro-entrepreneurship won about 4%-5% national awards, -5w for science and technology, -3w for gold, -2w for silver and-1w for bronze. Just hand in a 3000-5000 form.

2. Bonuses can also be uncertain social competitions with low difficulty and low popularity. The difficulty of the first session of some competitions is generally low.

3. It will be much more difficult to limit the participation of only college students and the difficulty of reading. But if it's within five years ... the group before the first defense is a 20-year-old Xiao Bai and a 30-year-old doctor who are completely cannon fodder.

4. Distinguish between team group (maker group) and enterprise group If college students compare projects with enterprises, the results can be imagined. ...

Just fill in a message and submit a plan. Many competitions will be reported online according to their templates (for example, Zhongchuang and Maker China), which is very difficult, so don't be cannon fodder if there are many things. In some competitions, you just need to fill in your personal information, submit the plan and send it to your email. You can try to pursue your dreams.

6. Local competitions that attract college students (such as Hangchuang and Qinglan talents) enter a certain ranking, and local registered companies have a free subsidy of 50,000 yuan. For details, please refer to the experience of Hangchuang Competition.

Interpretation at national, provincial, municipal, regional and university levels:

Tell me a little about my understanding of each level (available when writing a resume).

National level: hold corresponding provincial competitions. (However, many competitions have their own national prefix, which is collected for the whole country ... provincial and ministerial level: provincial+national level, and the Ministry may refer to the Ministry of Education. It is generally used to introduce college students' topic selection, such as X items selected by provincial and ministerial college students such as Miao Xin and Guochuang.

Provincial (city) level: all provinces or municipalities directly under the Central Government are provincial-level administrative units, such as East China Division, Zhejiang Province and Shanghai. Regional level (personal favorite expression): some social competitions are small in scale but collect projects for the whole country, and some competitions cross schools and provinces. If it is difficult to judge, it is generally written as regional level or above (it can also cover the above levels). College level: As the name implies, the scope of project collection is limited to schools or colleges.

About Guochuang (Dachuang) and Miao Xin:

Strictly speaking, the National College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Plan and the Zhejiang Miao Xin Talent Plan are not competitions. For example, the national and provincial scientific research projects of the college students' version do not evaluate the X prize, and do not distinguish the ABC category. They only aim at project initiation and conclusion.
