What are the functions of Canon digital camera?

1) Pay attention to setting camera parameters before shooting.

Most digital cameras provide various settings in the settings menu. Including image resolution, focusing mode, aperture, shutter and other items, of which the most commonly used is image resolution. Many cameras offer multiple resolution options. For example, AGFA 1280 has five settings, namely 1280× 960, 1024× 768 Hi, 1024× 768, 640× 480 Hi and 640× 480. Most cameras have default settings. If you don't use the camera for a period of time, such as 30 minutes, the default settings will take effect automatically when you restart. Therefore, before each shooting, especially after replacing the battery, it is necessary to re-check the camera's setting menu and confirm the resolution and aperture settings, otherwise it is very likely that the photos taken will not achieve the expected results.

(2) Try to shoot at the highest resolution.

When using a digital camera, the photos processed have only a very limited resolution-so do high-end cameras, not to mention low-end cameras. In low-end digital cameras, the resolution of photos ranges from 640x480 to 800x600 dpi. This is not a very high resolution compared with traditional cameras. But compared with the graphic resolution of PC, it is already very good. In fact, most web images are smaller than 640 x 480 dpi. If measured by this standard, the resolution of digital cameras is still very good. However, regardless of the function of the digital camera, the resolution that can be achieved is still limited.

Therefore, obtaining the highest possible definition is the key to take digital photos. For traditional cameras, the main consideration when shooting is to get a good perspective and construct a good picture. If a digital camera is to shoot a typical photographic work, all the basic photographic principles are applicable. However, if you only shoot a single object, such as a watch or a mobile phone, the criteria for framing and adding sports can be ignored. At this time, try to fill the object in the frame, even if the photo composition is poor, it doesn't matter, just use the maximum resolution on the subject.

In other words, if you take a picture of a person, you must include the surrounding scenery in the frame to balance the person and the scenery. Traditional photography has many composition principles. But for digital photography, it is often to take photos including scenes, and then cut off the redundant parts when editing. This means that we should oppose the golden rule of conventional photography and try our best to fill the whole picture with only the desired images. So, if you want to take a picture of your home computer, you just need to put the computer in the scene frame and cut it out in the picture processing software. This is to maximize the resolution of the main computer of the picture.

(3) Correct use of lighting conditions

Most digital cameras can only take pictures in perfect lighting conditions. Before taking pictures, you must find the best lighting conditions. Conventional film is also affected by light, but the hue and color quality of photography based on film make it less dependent on light conditions. Digital cameras rely entirely on light. If the illumination in the shooting range of a digital camera is too strong, it will produce a banded effect, which is difficult to correct without a lot of careful adjustment work. On the other hand, because CCD has a certain sensitivity threshold, if the light is dark and cannot reach the required minimum illumination, digital photos will be seriously damaged. Even if the light is a little small, it can obviously reduce the clarity of the photo. Due to the limitation of the effective distance of the flash, even if the flash is used, the lighting conditions in the shadow area or at night may still be insufficient for the digital camera. Using more sensitive CCD chip is an effective way to reduce the limitation of lighting conditions of digital cameras. Another factor of digital photography is that some types of lighting have different effects on different cameras, which is also true for conventional photography. But the key point is that some lighting conditions have different effects on digital cameras and conventional cameras, which requires experiments. Fluorescent lighting will cause brightness and color problems; For the best results, you can use news lights to shoot TV. The experiment shows that in a shooting cycle, tungsten lamp in the photography room is used for digital shooting, and then the photos are observed on the computer. Surprisingly, when the light is directed at the lens (not from the back), orange is obviously added to the photo.

For low-end digital cameras, natural light is really the best. You can also use desk lamps and camera lamps, but you need to control the lights to be direct, because the low resolution of light and camera will offset the efforts to obtain excellent and continuous tones. In order to make the best use of sunshine without taking pictures outdoors, you can set up a table with a white poster board as the background and put it next to the window to receive as much sunshine as possible in one day. At present, sunlight completely or partially covered by clouds is the best light source for digital cameras.

(4) Use the flash carefully

Many digital cameras have built-in flash. There are usually four settings: flash, no flash, red-eye flash and automatic flash. The last one is to let the camera decide whether it needs extra light. In many cases, the flash may destroy a perfect photo, or make mistakes that will be hard to clear in the future.

For digital cameras used by fools, most automatic flashes occur in cloudy weather. Turn off the flash and increase the exposure, and that's it.
