I believe you are no strangers to Guilin and Bian Xiao. As early as primary school, we knew that Guilin's landscape was the best in the world. Day 1: downtown Guilin

Guilin is a small city, with Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, East-West Lane, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Wangcheng Scenic Area, Elephant Trunk Mountain Scenic Area, Seven Star Scenic Area and Zhongshan Road all concentrated together. These scenic spots can be solved on foot.

Zhengyang pedestrian street

Most cities have their origin centers, and there is an old street that has been passed down for thousands of years. Zhengyang Pedestrian Street is the story point of Guilin. Located in the center of Guilin, it starts from Coral North Road in the south, reaches Jiefang East in the north, faces Lijiang River in the east and the central square in the west, with a total length of 666 meters (which coincides with the folk slogan of "Liu Liu Da Shun" in China).

Zhengyang Pedestrian Street is different from other pedestrian streets. Both sides are not tall buildings, nor are they high imitation ancient buildings. Instead, it is a bottom pedestrian street that has spontaneously grown up in the long river of time, integrating entertainment, commerce, shopping and catering. It is characterized by a mixture of various buildings, including European styles, ancient buildings in China and southern arcades. At the same time, in the U-shaped corridor where the buildings on both sides of the street are gradually increasing from the center, old trees are bared their teeth and have a unique style, and things are interspersed between alleys. Friendly and lively, you can blend in, experience shopping spree and taste Guilin's special cuisine.

PS: It's best to eat in the alleys on both sides of the central bell tower. I like octopus balls around the corner. As for Guilin rice noodles, Chongshan rice noodles and Guilin people are recommended, but as long as they arrive in Guilin, most rice noodle shops are good.

Dongxi lane

East-West Lane is actually a new lane, which is separated from Zhengyang Pedestrian Street by Jiefang East Road, and its positioning is similar to that of Chengdu's wide and narrow lane. The architecture imitating Guilin in Ming and Qing Dynasties is a scenic spot of Guilin's ancient historical features, including Zhengyang Street East Lane, Jiangnan Lane and Lanjing Lane. However, relying on the transformation of Wangcheng Scenic Area, it is not bad, eating, drinking and having fun, and the spatial scale is pleasant. The experience of three or two friends shuttling through it is still good.

PS: I recommend two old shops, Wangcheng horse meat (there is little horse meat in other places) and beautiful Wangwang fish (a good fish raised in Guilin landscape).

Two Rivers and Four Lakes

The two rivers and four lakes should be the most beautiful night scene in Guilin. As landscape practitioners, a group of experienced professionals agree that this scheme has international standards and is an absolute night business card for Guilin. It consists of Lijiang River, taohuajiang, Longmu Lake, Gui Hu, Ronghu Lake and Shanshan Lake. In addition to Longmu Lake, Shanshan Lake, Ronghu Lake and Gui Hu are closely linked. The most famous are the Gold and Silver Twin Towers standing in the lake and the 13 Bridge inserted between them. At night, the towers, pavilions and bridges on the shore are brightly lit and beautiful, and there are many performances with local characteristics along the coast.

Elephant Trunk Hill

Elephant trunk mountain on the east bank of Lijiang River is hanging in the sky and floating in the water. Elephant trunk mountain is known as the symbol of Guilin's landscape, and all domestic and foreign tourists who come to Guilin will come to Elephant trunk mountain for a group photo. "The above introduction well illustrates the characteristics of this scenic spot-the business card scenic spot, but the money that goes in is really not worth it, and now it is a mess. If you like, it is recommended to stay in a hotel that you can see, and stay and watch.

Seven Star Park

I don't know why, of all the parks in Guilin, I am the only one who loves this one, especially autumn scenery. Perhaps the long history has given these scenic spots more nature. What impressed me more was the imitation of qixia temple in the Tang Dynasty, the business card Camel Mountain, and the zoo and waterfall water system in front. The trees in it grow well, but the flowers don't bloom well (I mean natural flowers, not the theme flowers arranged by the old gardener). Boarding the Star-Picking Pavilion overlooks most of Guilin City. Oh, don't go to the famous Seven Star Rock, it's a waste of feelings and time.

PS: Guilin Shuixiu Crescent Resort in the scenic spot is good.

PPS: It has several advantages to recommend you to stay in the scenic spot hotel: 1, being in the scenic spot is very quiet at night, just like a big garden of your own; 2. It is very unique to experience the scenic spots slowly at night and in the morning.

The next day: Guilin East Line

Yan Guan

Although the advertising words are awesome, personally, I think the cave is only its small feature, and its major feature is the sightseeing mode of transportation (although there is still much room for optimization of its traffic streamline). First, you can take a self-driving sightseeing pulley from the lawn, cross a field with local scenery, and reach Yan Guan Cave. Especially for young couples and parents, this driving feeling should be quite perfect. Later, I came to the underground tram station, took a small tram, crossed a long underground "Little Three Gorges", arrived at the tram station, and then walked on the underground waterway to watch. Finally, taking the vertical elevator of the highest cave in Asia, moving vertically can increase the experience of watching the cave.

Gudong Waterfall

The only waterfall that can be climbed in China is in zero distance contact with the mountains and rivers. It is characterized by going upstream along a natural water system that can be closely contacted. Especially when the weather is hot, you can "get wet" with friends and feel the natural amusement in the water. At the same time, when late autumn comes, it is an excellent place to go out and enjoy Qiu Feng. You can see the mountains and plains, the forests are all dyed, and the scenery is magnificent.

Daxu ancient town

Dawei ancient town is one of the "four big towns" in ancient Guangxi. The ancient town of David was founded in 200 AD. Laodaxu Old Street stretches for 2 kilometers along the Lijiang River. The streets that are not wide are paved with bluestone slabs, and there are well-preserved old houses on both sides of the slate road. Dawei ancient town is located on the east bank of Lijiang River, southeast of Fuziyan, north of Mopan Mountain, 23 kilometers away from Guilin. It's an ancient town around Guilin. It's not very developed now, and it's not so commercialized.

Day 3: Lijiang River Essence Tour

Lijiang River is a classic of Guilin landscape, with many stories. The most profound picture is engraved on your beloved RMB 20.

One day tour plan

Take a bus from the hotel to the Pearl River Pier, and take a boat tour of the Lijiang River in Baili Gallery (about 4.5 hours, buffet on board). The boat sailed on the crystal clear Lijiang River, breathing the pure air of nature. The lush and beautiful mountains and rivers stand quietly by the river, and the elegant and beautiful scenery is just like the poem "Jiang Qingshan is like a jade hairpin". A buffet is provided on board at noon. In the afternoon 13: 30, the ship disembarked at Yangshuo pier.

Scheme II Lijiang River Bamboo Raft

Go to Yangti Wharf and take a bamboo raft to visit the most beautiful section of Lijiang River (about 4 people/raft 100 minutes). Here is the gathering place of the four beautiful scenery of the Lijiang River. Enjoy the famous scenic spots along the way: Huangbu Reflection (20 yuan in the background), Jiu Ma Huashan, Xingping Jiajing, Qixian Mountain, Glove Mountain and Thumb Mountain.

If there are no children below 1.2m, it is recommended to take a bamboo raft. After all, bamboo rafts have more Guilin characteristics, and only bamboo rafts can reach Xingping Pier, the best shooting spot of 20 RMB.

PS: (I remember Xingping Pier, not Jiu Ma Huashan Pier. The bamboo raft at Xingping Wharf is more expensive than Jiumashan, but you need to take a battery car to Xingping to get to Jiumashan, so the price is similar. )

Xing ping

The most essential scenic spots of the Lijiang River are all in Xingping, where there are 24 scenic spots in eight scenic spots, including Jiu Ma Huashan, Luosi Mountain, Lianhuayan, Tianshuizhai, Lingbaoge, Xingping Ancient Street, Laozhai Mountain Friendship Pavilion, Presidential Fishing Village, Huangbutan, Luotian Dayan, Xitang Tianhu, Zhangpinglong, Tengjiao Temple, Dayuan Forest Farm, 20 yuan Background, and Dahebei scenery. When US President Bill Clinton visited Lijiang River, he also visited Xingping fishing village. At the same time, compared with Yangshuo, Xingping ancient town is not so commercialized (although it is a little commercialized now), and there are not so many shops in deceiving people. There is a ferry at Xingping pier, so you can go to the other side for a few dollars. If the Lijiang River is shallow, you can also visit Lijiang Island. The villagers here are also very friendly and the things they sell are not very expensive.

Impression Liu Sanjie

A large-scale landscape performance directed by Zhang Yimou. Fiona Fang's two-kilometer-long Lijiang River waters, twelve background peaks and boundless sky constitute the world's largest landscape theater-Impression Sanjie Liu. Its characteristic is that in the natural landscape, the scenery performance fully draws lessons from the natural environment of Lijiang River, and at the same time, all the original villagers' performances were filmed. Just like the characteristics of the old man, the picture is shocking and the color scheme is good. But to be honest, I can't understand the plot. At the same time, because the shooting time is earlier, it may not be as lively and cool as Song Cheng's performing arts.

Yangshuo West Street

Yangshuo West Street is known as one of the three major foreigner streets in China, so I won't talk nonsense. After all, many people are here for this. When the lights are turned on and the music is played, you will get drunk after drinking a little wine and tasting coffee. Now that you are famous and there are many people, I suggest you come in the morning, when there will be fewer people, instead of all kinds of overcrowding you see at night.

PS: If the specialty is afraid of pits, going to the supermarket is better than those so-called specialty stores.

PPS: If you like excitement, I suggest the hotel be closer to West Street. If not, you can find a farther place with good scenery and high cost performance. If you are young, recommend a Hanshan mansion, where the big bed rooms are all good, especially the big bed room with a view of the starry sky is very exciting.

Day 4: Yangshuo and its surroundings

There are many scenic spots in Yangshuo, but there are not many really interesting ones. It's better to ride a small electric bicycle or bicycle, swim between mountains and rivers with friends and experience the coolness.

Yulong River or Longhui River

The pastoral scenery is the Yulong River Scenic Area, which is known as the Little Lijiang River. It is a good place for photography, hiking, viewing and taking a bamboo raft. This country road is green like running water, surrounded by rows of phoenix bamboos, which allows you to return to the tranquility of nature in minutes.

An idyllic land

On the way back to Guilin. The original appearance of the base developed by Taiwan Province people is well preserved. Looking from a distance, the mountains are lush, the village trees are green and the buildings are scattered, just like Tao Yuanming's "delicious and colorful grass" and "fertile fields, beautiful ponds, mulberry and bamboo".

If you have enough time, you can also go to Yinziyan, Totem Ancient Road, Fool's Paradise and so on. As for those "famous scenic spots" that I haven't listed, you can choose as appropriate.

There are rock climbing, hot air balloon, mountain bike and other experience activities around Yangshuo, and friends who like outdoor activities can also experience it.

PS: In the choice of scenic spots, you can plan according to your own cycling route. Apart from Xanadu and Yinziyan, it is quite convenient.

Write it at the end

Of course, Guilin is far more than these scenic spots, but if you don't have much time, the above route is my first one. You can also go to Longji Terrace, Xing 'an Water Street and Lingqu when you have time. These scenic spots are mainly because the traffic on the road is too time-consuming and the timeliness of selection is not so high.
