Sister with rare asexual experience suffering from cervical cancer and endometrial cancer

Women who have no sexual experience are often afraid or unwilling to undergo invasive gynecological examinations, such as the common cervical smear examination, because of their "virgin complex", sometimes irregular menstruation or bleeding. Therefore, when bleeding, abdominal distension, abdominal pain and other symptoms are serious, it is too late to find out that they have terminal cervical cancer through further examination. Liu Weimin, director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Affiliated Hospital of Taipei Medical College, said that women with asexual experience should not neglect the importance of cervical smear examination. Liu Weimin, director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Affiliated Hospital of Taipei Medical College, said that gynecological tumor disease or gynecological cancer is no longer a disease for married women or women with sexual experience. So far, more than 3 cases of endometrial cancer have been diagnosed and treated in outpatient clinics, and one quarter of them have never had sexual experience.

Recently, a pair of sisters, aged 38 and 33, were admitted. Both of them have never had sexual experience or a family history of cancer, but they rarely suffer from advanced cervical cancer and endometrial cancer respectively. This is definitely a big alarm for women in Taiwan Province, because modern people generally marry late, and Taiwan Province is the country with the lowest fertility rate in the world, so the risk is higher.

My sister has been bleeding abnormally since April this year, and she has visited several hospitals. Obstetricians and gynecologists all think that the patient has no sexual experience and is still a virgin, so they all prescribe hormone drugs such as lutein and birth control pills, so it is ineffective. Later, the patient suffered from severe abdominal pain and went to Beijing Medical University for treatment. Liu Weimin said that he was not diagnosed with cervical cancer until he asked the patient to agree to do * * * internal diagnosis and cervical smear first. When he cut the hymen, he saw that the cancer cells had spread in many places, not only eating almost half of the liver, but also spreading all the way to the lungs, brain and bones, and entering the final stage of cervical cancer-the fourth stage. At present, the patient is receiving electrotherapy and chemotherapy.

In the same week, my sister came to see a doctor because of abnormal bleeding. Because Caixia is also a virgin, Liu Weimin arranged an abdominal ultrasound examination, and only found that the endometrial thickness was 1.5 cm. Because the patient has failed to receive a variety of Hormone preparations, it is suggested to cut the hymen and perform "uterine dilatation and curettage". The biopsy report confirmed that it was endometrial cancer. Because the uterus could not be preserved, a few days ago, the patient was treated with Da Vinci stereoscopic laparoscopic surgery to remove the uterus.

Dr. Liu Weimin appealed that it is a great pity that 9% of patients suffering from cervical cancer did not have a pap smear examination in the first three years, which missed the opportunity of early detection and early treatment. Therefore, women with asexual experience should not neglect the importance of doing pap smear examination. If there is abnormal bleeding or irregular menstruation, they should go to the obstetrics and gynecology department for consultation and receive necessary examinations.
