Application and relationship of three elements of camera exposure

Three elements of exposure: shutter, aperture and sensitivity;

1, shoot high-speed moving objects with a high shutter speed of11000, and shoot with a small aperture to improve iso and increase the brightness of the picture;

2, shooting a moving object, if you want to show the dynamics of the subject, then we can slow down the shutter speed appropriately and deliberately make the picture a little mushy, so that it looks more dynamic; Long exposure requires ND filter;

3. When the light is dark, it is necessary to increase the exposure with a slow shutter. For example, when shooting at night, we often use the shutter speed of several seconds, and sometimes it takes 10 seconds or more. If necessary, we need to improve iso;;

Aperture is a device that controls the amount of light entering the photosensitive surface of the fuselage through the lens. The larger the aperture, the more light can pass, and vice versa.

For aperture, there are generally the following usages:

1. Aperture can control the length of depth of field. Under the same parameters, the large aperture scene is deep and the small aperture depth of field is large. Therefore, when we need to blur the background, we usually use a large aperture. On the contrary, if we want to get greater depth of field, we should use the smallest aperture possible.

2. We usually use a small aperture when shooting the silhouette effect.

Sensitivity (ISO), as its name implies, reflects the sensitivity of camera sensors to light. The general range is 100 ~ 6400 (many cameras can be extended to 12800), iso 100 is the lowest (some are 64), and iso6400 is the highest.

Low iso can control noise well and get good image quality. On the contrary, there are many high iso cameras with poor image quality, especially above iso800, which is almost unacceptable (some cameras are not suitable, such as Sony A7S). Iso has a great influence on exposure. Low iso requires a larger exposure, while high iso requires a smaller exposure.

A photo with the right exposure is the combination of the three. In many cases, you can shoot with aperture priority AV file and shutter priority TV file. On this basis, good composition can make your photos become good photos;
