Plot introduction

In Marion Budd last year, Allan Ray Nye was madly immersed in the theme of memory and forgetting. In a city with baroque architecture, a drama performance is going on, and a man X meets a woman. The man told the woman that they met here a year ago, and she promised to meet here again a year later and leave with him. A didn't believe it at first, but men kept appearing in front of her, describing the details that they had been together. Then, A began to doubt her memory, and she began to believe that it really happened last year-The Last Year in Marion Budd was about narration and memory. In the process of narration, a strong style, a fascination with memories and a reality entangled with the past have been formed. From unbelief to enlightenment, it is like a mirror in a mirror, reflecting yourself that you can't see in your daily life. The screenwriter of the film is Robert Gerye, the representative of the "New Fiction School". In the brand-new narrative sequence, he constructed a time and space belonging to his inner world. A lot of flashbacks are used in the film, which are bold and continuous, as if they were X-rays cut into the heart.
