What do you think of WeChat’s circle of friends function?

Have you noticed? In fact, we are avoiding Moments more and more. In the past, if we didn’t finish checking Moments for the day every day, we would not feel at ease when sleeping. But now we may not think of checking them for several days. Why is there such a contrast when browsing Moments? It’s because the Moments are not necessarily friends, and the Moments are not necessarily real. Instead, they are filled with all kinds of complex relationships and interpersonal relationships, and are full of all kinds of lies and routines. Of course, there are many micro-businesses, which makes our circle of friends increasingly exclusive.

What I want to say is: Don’t let your circle of friends define our real life. I have a friend who posts some very high-end things in his circle of friends every day. Even though he is eating a very ordinary fast food, he can take photos that make it look like a big meal.

Every morning he posts about his breakfast in WeChat Moments. I’m thinking that he must spend a lot more time making breakfast than eating breakfast. Looking at those very ordinary foods, he takes pictures of them. I find it quite boring to create a high-end effect and beautify your face, but he seems to be enjoying it. For example, she mentioned that she would give herself an exquisite breakfast every day, but in fact, I didn't see how exquisite it was. I didn't know if she grabbed her bag and ran out to catch the bus after eating this exquisite breakfast.

So we really shouldn’t be blinded by the circle of friends, and don’t envy others’ high status in the circle of friends. Many of them are just pretending. If you want to ask them if they are tired, you can only say: They were tired but enjoyed it. Some friends also said that he was completely forced because he wanted to show the best version of himself to others, to let others prove that he was living a good life, or to tell a lie and then use a hundred lies to cover it up. Live at your own feet, not in your circle of friends.
