Chen Xiaobo’s honor

1. In the 1990s, he began to write, curate, and edit books extensively in the field of photography, and became interested in studying the current situation of contemporary visual art. The research direction is cases in Chinese documentary and news photography. Served as a judge for the "Golden Image Award", the highest award for photography in China, as well as multiple national photography awards; served as an academic committee member for multiple photography festivals and professional magazines; and has continuously curated exhibitions at international photography festivals such as Pingyao, Lianzhou, and Guilin, and at the 798 Art Center. ; As an editor of photography books, I help dozens of photographers edit their books.

2. In 2003, he was awarded the title of "Double Virtue and Art" member of the Photographers Association;

3. From 2004 to 2006, he chaired the "Wavelet Dialogue with Filmmakers" column in "People's Photography News";

4. In 2006, he participated in the editing work of "50 Years of Chinese Photography" and was the curator and writer of the Xinhua News Agency section, news photography section, report photography section, and sports section;

5. In 2007, as the editor-in-chief, he completed the editing and publishing work of the "Chinese Photographers" series (ten books); in 2008, he chaired the "Oral Xinhua" column of "Photography World"; and served as the "Celebrity-Photography" column for the overseas edition of "People's Daily" Writer of "Home"; Chief Planner of CCTV's "Photographers and the Age of Change".

6. In 2009, he won the Golden Image Award, the highest personal achievement award in the Chinese photography industry.
