Where is Songjiang ancient city?

Songjiang District is located in the southwest of Shanghai, on the upper reaches of Huangpu River, bordering Minhang District and Fengxian County in the east, Jinshan District in the south and southwest, and Qingpu County in the west and north. The area is about 24 kilometers long from north to south and 25 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 605 square kilometers.

Songjiang is the birthplace of Shanghai's history and culture. According to archaeological findings, about 6,000 years ago, our ancestors worked and lived in Jiu Feng, creating ancient cultures such as Songze and Liangzhu. In the 24th year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (2 19), Lu Xun, a famous soldier, named Huating Hou with merit, and Huating was first seen in local chronicles. In the tenth year of Tang Tianbao (75 1), Huating County was established. In the 14th year of Yuan Dynasty (1277), it was promoted to Huating House and changed to Songjiang House the following year. In the tenth year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (1805), it evolved into 1 house (Songjiang), 7 counties (Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui) and 1 hall (Chuansha). In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), the government was abandoned, and Huating and Louxian were merged into Huating County. In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), it was changed to Songjiang county. After liberation, Sunan Administrative Office established Songjiang District. 1March, 958, Songjiang District was revoked and placed under Suzhou District. In the same year 165438+ 10, it was transferred from Jiangsu province to Shanghai. 1Feb. 998, the State Council approved the withdrawal of counties and the establishment of districts.

Songjiang is the area with the richest ground cultural relics in Shanghai, including the relics of Darani in Tang Dynasty, the square tower in Song Dynasty, the mosque in Yuan Dynasty, the zhaobi in Ming Dynasty, and the drunken pool in Qing Dynasty, so it has the reputation of "seeing the present in ancient times in Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties". As the only national tourist resort in Shanghai, Sheshan National Tourist Resort has superior natural conditions and rich tourism resources. The 12 peak in the northwest is the only mountain forest in Shanghai. In 2000, an artificial lake with a water surface of 500 mu, Moon Lake, was excavated with beautiful scenery. Sheshan National Forest Park was rated as the first batch of AAAA scenic spots by the National Tourism Administration.
