There is an ancient village in Shanxi that alarmed the three emperors of the Qing Dynasty because of trivial things!

In Pingshun County at the junction of Shanxi, Hebei and Henan provinces, there is a village called "Dongzhuang Village", which was included in the first batch of ancient villages in China. Ancient houses from the Ming and Qing Dynasties can be seen everywhere in the antique streets and alleys, attracting many experts and scholars to visit here. At present, experts have fully affirmed the historical value of ancient buildings such as Jiumen Xiangzhao, Zhenwu Pavilion, and Mashoe Hall. We are also collecting historical legends and documentary records related to the pursuit of beauty in this village middle school.

In the early years of the Sui Dynasty, this village began to rise, and it began to take shape at the end of the Sui Dynasty and the beginning of the Tang Dynasty. After the construction and development of the Wang, Yue, Zhao and other families, Dongzhuang Village once became famous during the heyday of the Three Jin Dynasties. According to local legend, Dou Jiande, the leader of the uprising in the late Sui Dynasty, once lived in Dongzhuang Village. The "horse feeding manger" he left behind has now become a scenic spot.

According to the legend of local villagers, during the Kangxi period, the noble families in the village volunteered to donate money and food to aid Datong, which deeply moved Emperor Kangxi, and the village was awarded by the court. During the Jiaqing period, two villagers went to Beijing for a lawsuit over their children, and Emperor Jiaqing personally gave instructions. During the Guangxu period, he fought a lawsuit with the Zhang De government over the ownership of Jingangpo. Finally, he was brought to Emperor Guangxu, who sent him a special letter.

In Dongzhuang Village, there is an old street with more than 20 Yue family houses. According to legend, the 11th generation Sun Dong, the third descendant of Yue Feihe, once recuperated here, and the family power grew stronger day by day. His descendants live in more than 20 neighboring villages and even all over the country. In addition, the Yue family also spontaneously organized a theater troupe to serve the villagers, and compiled many works such as Burning King Kong Slope based on real history, which were widely circulated in the Sanjin area.

There are still many traditional folk customs in the village, such as turning on the lights and boxing on the 15th day of the first lunar month, drinking dragon eggs on February 2nd, visiting temple fairs on March 15th, celebrating the Sheep Festival on June 6th, and celebrating the Sheep Festival on July 10th. Donkey Festival and so on. In recent years, due to media promotion, many photographers have begun to visit here, and the wave of modernization has gradually changed the local people.

In the author's opinion, this ancient village hidden deep in the Taihang Mountains is famous all over the world for its isolation from the secular world and rapid development, and has become a "living fossil" in the eyes of experts. However, it is still unknown how long Dongzhuang Village can survive the tide of development.
