Organization of Ningbo Art Museum

The leading group of the museum is the leader and decision-making center of Ningbo Art Museum, and is responsible for all major decisions and administrative affairs of Ningbo Art Museum. There are six departments, namely Party and Government Office, Academic Collection Department, Exhibition Department, Education and Development Department, Equipment and Information Department, Foreign Affairs Department and Security Department. The directors of each department and office form the middle-level leaders of the museum. There are also party branches, trade unions, Communist Youth League committees and academic committees of Ningbo Art Museum.

Party and government office

Dangzhengban is the comprehensive coordination and management department of our library, which is responsible for the personnel, finance, secretarial work, archives, publicity and reporting and reading room of the art museum; Responsible for arranging all kinds of meetings, daily reception, external liaison, letters and visits, and assisting the curator to complete other daily affairs and coordination among various departments.

Academic collection department

Responsible for the collection, preservation, restoration and research of art museum collections, planning of academic exhibitions and funding of exhibits, editing and publishing various exhibition collections, exhibition catalogues, museum periodicals, yearbooks and related publications; Conduct various academic seminars and lectures; Collect and sort out art materials and information at home and abroad. With the goal of exploring the scientific road for the development of modern art museums, we have established an academic orientation based on Ningbo, looking at the whole country, facing the present and giving consideration to history, collected and displayed outstanding works of Ningbo artists and famous artists at home and abroad, and carried out related academic research activities.

Exhibition department

Responsible for the design, production and display of various exhibition activities in the art museum. To undertake the planning and arrangement of exhibitions, negotiation of various exhibitions, related transportation, customs declaration, etc. Reasonably arrange the proportion of fixed exhibitions and active exhibitions, and coordinate the whole process of various exhibitions.

Ministry of Education and Development

Responsible for the development of related industries in the art museum, do a good job of liaison between the art museum and all walks of life, absorb funds and accept sponsorship. Make use of the advantages of art resources of the art museum to promote the social popularization of art, hold various art trainings, calligraphy and painting examinations and lectures on aesthetic knowledge, and expand the social effects and public welfare services of the art museum.

Art education center

On the basis of observing the Constitution, laws, regulations and national policies, the Art Education Center of Ningbo Art Museum abides by social morality, people-oriented, supplements the art education of full-time schools with various activities, strives for the participation of people from all walks of life, and makes Ningbo Art Museum a social university for all.

Education promotion is an important social function of Ningbo Art Museum. In order to make effective use of the advantages of the art museum in exhibition, art collection, academics and talents, the Art Education Center of Ningbo Art Museum will adhere to the principle of people-oriented and serving the society, and carry out various art training, lectures and salon activities for people of all ages, occupations and classes, and timely open high-level art exhibitions and academic seminars held by some art museums for people who love art, calligraphy, photography, sculpture, music, dance and film and television. Among them, the teaching of Chinese painting, calligraphy and children's painting for preschool children, the teaching of Chinese painting, calligraphy, sketching and color sketching for primary and secondary school students, the intensive pre-examination professional training for students applying for art colleges, and the lectures on piano, chess, calligraphy and painting for middle-aged and elderly friends will become the focus of art promotion and art education in the Art Education Center of Ningbo Art Museum.

Equipment information department

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of power supply and distribution, water supply and drainage, air conditioning, fire protection, technical defense, lighting, elevators, telephones, computers and other equipment in the art museum, as well as the maintenance of the network center, responsible for the daily management and supervision of property and security, and ensuring the good operation of various equipment systems and logistics systems in the art museum.
