General situation of Baisha village
Basha village is a key protected ethnic village designated by the provincial people's government, and is known as the "living fossil" and "ecological museum" of Miao culture. In the overall planning of tourism development in Guizhou Province, Basha is listed as an A-level scenic spot in ethnic villages. The residents' buildings, costumes and headdresses in Basha Miao Village are quite different from other surrounding villages and have their own characteristics. Basha people have maintained an ancient way of life and production one or two thousand years ago, and their costumes still maintain a strong original color.
