What about darkroom equipment?

I believe that most of my friends have had this experience. They usually like to buy all kinds of things, but they have never used them several times since they got them. Some have even been put on hold for a long time, and have not moved for a long time. Later, when they were cleaning the house, they came across these things.

I am a busy man and have no time to do housework at ordinary times. I occasionally use weekends to clean up the basement of my original residence. It's a pity to leave a set of photographic darkroom equipment useless and abandon it. Amplifier, time relay switch, cutter, fixing plate, film processor, glazing machine, etc. There are a lot of negatives and some drugs for developing images are almost forgotten. Some of these expired drugs were given by my father, and now they are almost antiques, so it can be confirmed that they are still in use in the early 1980 s, and some are even products from the 1970 s.

When I was a child, influenced by my father, I liked to ponder photography and post-photography. Because there was no darkroom, I often played late into the night. Among these things that have been dusty for a long time, I am reluctant to throw them away after moving several times. The magnifying glass was bought by my father with foreign exchange RMB during his foreign aid, which is the most memorable. The rest are gradually purchased after work, as well as their own darkroom lights and other small productions.

It makes me sad to think that all these things will be lost in the end. I was an ordinary fan at that time because I played black and white film and photographic paper, but now it has become a very high-end art, and no one can play it. I'm afraid the rough darkroom objects can no longer be used, so I can only leave a magnifying glass as a souvenir or save a special desk lamp instead. But in any case, these things really existed, which may not be of much use, but at least it is a memory.
