Definition of 3D Character Animation

Three-dimensional animation, also known as 3D animation, is a new technology with the development of computer software and hardware technology in recent years. Three-dimensional animation software first establishes a virtual world in the computer. Designers build models and scenes in this virtual three-dimensional world according to the shape and size of the objects to be represented, then set the motion trajectory of the model, the motion of the virtual camera and other animation parameters according to the requirements, and finally assign specific materials to the model, and light it as needed. When all this is done, the computer can automatically calculate and generate the final picture.

The production of character animation involves: 3D game character animation, movie character animation, advertising character animation, character animation and so on.

Computer role animation is generally completed by the following steps:

1. Take a shot according to the creative script, draw the action of the shot, and pave the way for 3D production;

2.3D Establish a simple model of the scene, characters and props of the story;

3.3D simple model Making 3D storyboards according to scripts and storyboards;

4. Make character model, 3D scene and 3D prop model accurately in 3D software;

5. According to the script design, set the color, texture and texture of the 3D model;

6. According to the story analysis, before animation, make some action settings for the models (mainly characters) that need animation in 3D;

7. According to the shot and time of the storyboard, make the performance animation of each shot for characters or other objects that need to be moved;

8. Set the lighting rendering atmosphere of the animation scene;

9. Animation special effects settings;

10. In the later stage, dubbing, background music, sound effects, subtitles and animation are matched and synthesized one by one, and finally a complete character animation is produced.
