Because the South and North Poles are the only unspoiled continents and oceans in the world at present, people all over the world feel that these lands should be protected. Some people say that the most difficult thing in the sky is space travel, and the most difficult thing on earth is to visit the poles. Going to the North and South Poles is the dream of many people, and it is also my dream, a magnificent glacier piled up for thousands of years; Charming polar creatures; Magnificent geography, the limits of extreme survival and other sights are fascinating. My purpose is to explore and photograph the polar regions by visiting the North Pole and the South Pole, so as to understand nature and challenge myself. On February 20 10, I was lucky enough to embark on an Antarctic expedition across Asia, Europe and South America with a group of 9 people from Shenzhen Entrepreneur Photography Association, overcoming the cold and experiencing hardships and extreme experiences unimaginable to ordinary people. We flew in the air for about 55 hours and traveled 55,657 kilometers, which is equivalent to circling the earth more than once. We sailed in the Antarctic on the icebreaker "Forward" along the exploration route of the famous British explorer shackleton for 17 days, and withstood the wind and waves of 12 magnitude. We crossed the Drake Strait of Death, went deep into the Antarctic Peninsula at 65 degrees and 30 minutes, and reached the sub-Antarctic south shetland islands, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands (Malvinas). This trip to the polar region gave me a great shock. On the way, I met naive penguins, clumsy and fierce seals, whales with huge water columns, and albatrosses shuttling between the waves. 20 1 1 June, in order to continue my dream trip, my old comrades and I flew to Longyearbyen, the heart of the Arctic, via Oslo, Norway, where the latitude was already. After that, we changed to the icebreaker Prince Albert II and started an expedition to the Arctic. I feel that the scenery of the North Pole and the South Pole is similar, and glaciers, icebergs and ice floes can be seen everywhere. However, due to the early development of the Arctic region, more human activities, and the geographical border with the mainland, the destruction of the ecological environment and the melting of glaciers seem to be more serious, and the scenery is not as spectacular as that of the Antarctic. We set foot on the ice in the inaccessible northern Svalbard, searched for walruses and polar bears on the floating ice, and witnessed thousands of seabirds. Besides seals, walruses, reindeer, arctic foxes, arctic terns and other animals, we also saw rare polar bears and beluga whales. The most abundant creatures are social birds that migrate in Bear Island. Because the temperature in the Arctic is higher than that in the Antarctic, the diversity of its animals and plants is also higher than that in the Antarctic. Unlike the trip to the South Pole, our Arctic Blue went deep into the vast ice field of 80 degrees north latitude, only 10 degrees away from the North Pole. My two trips to the polar regions left me unforgettable memories. At the same time, I also recorded every wonderful moment in the mysterious polar region, and took thousands of documentary photos and video materials of Zhang Zhengui. Among them, a series of photographic works named "Extreme Emotion-Crossing the North and South Poles" won the "Excellent Photographer" award at 201the 11th China Pingyao International Photography Exhibition, and the single work "Loneliness" won the third place at 201/kloc-0. Through these two polar dream trips, while I appreciate the majestic will of nature, I realize the fragility of natural ecology and that human beings must have a sense of urgency to maintain natural ecology and shoulder the responsibility of protecting it. The north and south poles are like the two lungs of the earth, maintaining the balance and health of the earth. Due to the increasingly serious environmental problems and global warming, the ecological environment of the North and South poles is being seriously damaged. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to call on everyone to actively participate in supporting the low-carbon environmental protection movement, jointly care for the beautiful earth, and work together to protect the last pure land of the earth-the North and South poles.
