How to shoot pinhole photography

The biggest difficulty of pinhole photography is exposure, and how to expose correctly requires the accumulation of experience. Because there is no metering system behind the mirror, the pinhole diameter is too small, which is easily affected by the reciprocating failure of the film. Moreover, there is no set of methods to follow, and you can only try experiments with your own equipment, and the experience you get is the most reliable. At first, five shots were taken of the same scene, such as the first exposure 15 seconds, the second exposure for 30 seconds, and the other three exposures 1 minute, 2 minutes and 4 minutes respectively. There is always something acceptable after development. The exposure time usually ranges from a few seconds to several minutes. According to the film sensitivity, pinhole diameter and the distance between pinhole and film, the shorter the distance, the shorter the exposure time and the longer the exposure time. At the beginning of the experiment, the brightness and exposure time of the light source should be recorded for future reference, and the correct exposure can be mastered naturally after repeated attempts.
