History of Kunming Museum

Kunming Museum is located in the Kunming Museum (the former ancient building park) on the south side of Tuodong Road in Kunming. Spacious and bright, the temple stands in the middle of the classic building of Dali Kingdom in the Song Dynasty, which is known as the treasure of ancient sculpture art in China. Because it is located in the former site of Dizang King Temple, it is named "the classic building of Dizang King Temple", commonly known as "the ancient building". Later, the Dizang King Temple collapsed and the ancient buildings were buried underground for a long time. 19 19 this ancient building was unearthed in the ruins of Tibetan temples, which shocked China and foreign countries with its peerless exquisiteness, causing "Chinese and foreign people to run around and rub against each other" and was praised as "the art of peerless treasures in the East!" Professor Fang Guoyu, a historian, rated the ancient building as "the best art in central Yunnan!"
