If your heart is in your dream, it will be there. Never give up.

James Cameron is one of the most eye-catching directors in the world of cinema. Interestingly, in the eyes of strangers, he looks more like a truck driver. In the 1950s, Cameron was born into a middle-class family in Orlando, Canada. His father was an electrical engineer. Perhaps influenced by his father's words and deeds, he has shown extraordinary talent in engineering machinery since he was a child, and even designed a micro-submersible. When he was in middle school, his family moved to California, USA. Naturally, he chose the physics department when he went to college.

No one expected that Cameron was so obsessed with science fiction movies that he was hopelessly obsessed with it. He dreamed that one day he would be able to make fantastic science fiction movies. Slowly, he lost interest in boring physics. The contradiction between reality and dreams made him at a loss. His studies gradually fell into disuse, and he eventually dropped out of school. After returning home, Cameron worked as a machinist and truck driver, but he never forgot his movie dream. He started tinkering with various film equipment at home and even laid a camera slide in the living room. Since he had not received any professional training, he naturally made a lot of fools of himself. Movies have almost become his entire life. His wife doesn't understand, treats him as a lunatic, and eventually abandons him.

His wife was gone, and eventually he even lost his job. Because he was addicted to movies, Cameron had almost nothing, but he didn’t care at all, because the only thing in his world was movies. A few years later, he raised his own funds, made his own model, and shot a 10-minute science fiction short film. It was this short film that really opened the door for him to film. His talent was appreciated by a Hollywood producer and he was recruited into the company. Cameron took to the water like a fish in water, and gradually became a director from the initial stunt designer. Just when he was full of ambition and ready to show off his talents, he was hit in the head. At the age of 25, he went to Italy to direct his first movie. However, after the filming was completed, the producer bullied him because he was an unknown newcomer, and even refused to allow him to participate in the final editing of the film. Cameron walked away angrily.

Once again unemployed, he lost his financial source and became impoverished. His dream seemed to be getting farther and farther away. The cruel reality was before him, and he had to choose between his dream and reality. The persistent Cameron did not succumb to the pressure of life. He secretly vowed to write his own scripts and produce his own movies, and to make those who looked down on him regret it. Relying only on an overdraft credit card, he stayed in a dark cabin and devoted himself to script writing.

But God does not sympathize with the weak. Although he racked his brains, the script made no progress. He spent his days in anxiety and hesitation. Misfortunes never come singly, and a serious illness took the opportunity to attack him. Alone in a foreign country, helpless, poor and sick, with a bleak future, he began to have nightmares. One night, he woke up from another nightmare: a robot from the future world, holding a weird weapon, was chasing him all over the world. Seeing that there was no way to escape... When he woke up sweating profusely, he was overjoyed. Crazy, isn't this the plot of your dreams? He immediately wrote down this bizarre dream. Based on this, he created the first science fiction movie script, named "Terminator". Cameron sold the script to a Hollywood producer for only $1, on the condition that he must direct the film himself.

As we all know what happened next, the film was an unprecedented success and Cameron became famous. Later, he created the sequel to "Terminator", "True Lies" and other films. Not only did he become famous, but he also made another Hollywood superstar, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the current governor of California, USA. Cameron's pinnacle work "Titanic" created a myth in the history of film. It not only swept the world film industry unprecedentedly, earning a box office of 1.7 billion US dollars, but also won 11 Academy Awards in one fell swoop! This record has never been broken. At the award ceremony, Cameron cried with joy while holding the statuette in his hand, shouting almost crazily: "I am the king of the world!"

It is unimaginable if Cameron gave up when he was suffering from poverty and illness. He lost his movie dream, which was not only his personal regret, but also a huge loss to the world of cinema. There is no accidental success in the world, and there will never be a smooth road. Since you have chosen your dream, you have to take care of the wind and rain. Even if there is cold wind and rain behind you, you must devote yourself wholeheartedly.

When you feel the most difficult, it may be the time when you are closest to success. Never give up. If your heart is in your dreams, you will be there!
