Brief Introduction of Korean Department of Dalian International Studies University

Korean Language Department is one of the largest training bases for Korean language talents in colleges and universities in China. Running a school is divided into graduate education and undergraduate education. The major was founded in 1990. In 1990-92, Korean training courses were recruited, mainly to train Korean tour guides for the National Tourism Administration. 1993 officially enrolled students. Korean Department is one of the largest, high-level, powerful and influential Korean talent training bases in colleges and universities in China. It was rated as "the second-class specialty construction site in China" by the Ministry of Education, and it is a demonstration specialty in Liaoning Province. At present, there are two levels of postgraduate education and undergraduate education, including Korean Language Institute and Korean Culture Institute, which are jointly organized by Korean friendly groups and people to serve Korean language teachers and students.

There are two majors in undergraduate education: five-year Korean (Korean-Japanese bilingual) and four-year Korean (Korean language and culture). Postgraduate education has two majors: two-year Korean translation and three-year Asian-African language and literature.

There are more than 650 undergraduates and more than 50 graduate students.
