Located in the northwest of Tibet, there is a place called Ali, and there is a holy mountain in Ali-Gangrenboqi.

B?rge Ring, 6656 meters above sea level, is a sacred mountain in many religions and is known as the king of mountain gods. Gangrinboqi means "the mountain of gods" in Tibetan and "Shiva's paradise" in Sanskrit (Shiva is the Hindu god), from which Yongzhong Bonism originated.

Like a pyramid, Gangrinpoche stands proudly on the roof of the world, mysterious and cold, and is called "the center of the world".

Why do people respect Gon Rinpoche so much? Gon Rinpoche has two wonders.

1, Gangrinboqi is not the highest mountain in Ali, but it is unique in that its snow-covered peaks can shine strangely and attract people's attention under the sunlight. Coupled with the special mountain shape, it is very different from the surrounding peaks, which makes people have to be full of religious piety and wonder.

The top of Gangrinpoche Mountain has been covered with snow for a long time. Whenever the sun rises or sets, on this snowy mountain, the sunshine on the top of the mountain reflects the white snow, making Gang Rinpoche look extremely sacred.

Gangrinpoche is a sacred existence for many people. So far, no one has climbed the mountain. Is an inviolable holy mountain. For thousands of years, only devout believers have worshipped this mountain year after year, repeating it until the end of their lives.

Cangyang Gyatso's poem says: During that time, I crossed mountains and rivers to become a Buddha, and the pagoda was not to repair the afterlife but to meet you on the road.

In Tibet, in the heart of every Tibetan Buddhist believer, there is a dream of going to Gangrinboqi to make a pilgrimage to the mountains, but it is not easy to make a pilgrimage around Gangrinboqi.

Worship is the purest respect and belief of local people for nature. They firmly believe that as long as they worship sincerely, they will be rewarded.

Worship is a very hard thing, especially in areas with bad climate and environment like Ali, but some devout believers have accomplished this sacred thing.

Worship: Three steps forward and kowtowing are the piety of integrating body, language, heart and Buddha. Every time I kowtow and crawl on the earth, I pray for the happiness and safety of all beings.

It took a year to worship in Gangrinpoche and finally arrived in Lhasa. They experienced spring, summer, autumn and winter, experienced cold rain and dew, and finally completed everyone's dream with firm belief.

There are five peaks around Gangrenboqi. The first stop to turn the mountain is Nianri Temple, followed by Lafu Temple, Songchu Temple, Jiangzha Temple and Sailong Temple, among which the last two temples are located inside.

There are many well-known legends and stories in these five temples, which are rich in sculptures, statues, murals and other cultural relics, but they have all been damaged to varying degrees. The ruined temple stands alone on this land, announcing its existence to the world.

Gangrinpoche's uphill route

Generally, starting from Tachin Town, you can watch Rinpoche at close range in Fan Jing Square, and then pass through Qugu Temple and three towering cliffs to reach Zhire Temple.

At the mouth of Zhuomalaya, from time to time, you will meet Bononi believers who turn counterclockwise around the mountain. Unlike Buddhists, Bonism believers turn in the opposite direction, so tourists should not go in the wrong direction.

The best time for Gangrenboqi to turn to the mountains

Ali has a bad climate and the temperature is very low all the year round. In summer, the temperature in Ali is slightly higher, but there is more rain in Tibet in summer. It is recommended to go to the mountains in June and September, but it is very cold at this time, so take warm clothes and enough food.
