Ask the photographer for advice on how to take photos with this effect.

First, analyze what needs to be done in the early stage.

1. The cylindrical objects in the picture are all bright and dark at the same time, indicating that there is a light source shining on the main body from the side.

2. The darker side of the cylindrical cup is darker than the table, indicating that there is a light source at the top, which emits light from top to bottom (possibly an indoor ceiling lamp).

3. There is a white background (wall or something else)

To sum up, there should be a table with a warm white background. One lamp should illuminate the table (from top to bottom), and the other lamp should illuminate the main body from the side. The background may not be bright enough, so extra light is needed. If you don't have equipment, you can try natural light and overhead light first.

The later work is to adjust the white balance and brighten the shadows. If you want to blur the background, you should shoot with a large aperture lens. If you want to shoot the effect in the picture, I think F2.8 should be enough.

The reason why photos are soft is that the contrast between light and shade, background and subject is very small. Without considering the light, you can have this soft feeling by shooting it directly and putting it in the computer later, but the effect is not necessarily very good (the light that highlights the main body needs to be made in the early stage)
