What should I do with the photos after shooting the planet? What software is RegStax? Please explain in detail. I am a novice in astrophotography.

RegStax is a laminating software. Due to digital technology, chips exposed for a long time will produce serious noise (even higher brightness than stars), so similar software appears. Its theoretical basis is that noise will be generated randomly, so after multiple photos overlap, the noise can cancel each other, while the brightness of the scene is very low, but it is not randomly distributed, so it will not cancel. Usually, in order to ensure the cleanliness and clarity of the picture, hundreds to thousands of photos are usually superimposed to make the cumulative exposure time reach several minutes, thus ensuring the brightness of the picture.

In order to take more detailed photos, we can also calibrate the black field in white occasions, that is, all-white exposure and all-black exposure, and superimpose the results on the picture in the opposite way to balance the noise caused by hardware.
