The participation rate of students is increasing year by year, and the importance of science and technology education (nature, status and function) is rooted in all teachers and students. Years of science and technology education can be reflected in the following aspects.

Combined with the characteristics of the school and parents' expectations, the popularization of proofreaders' scientific and technological skills is based on the development and utilization of intelligent robots. In the process of learning, students not only use their hands and brains, but also play an introductory role in computer language programming, which lays the foundation for students to further their studies and cultivates their interest. The school strictly follows the principle of gradual popularization of intelligent robots, and an effective model has begun to take shape in the school.
Stimulation of interest: Preparatory students take the form of elective courses, students voluntarily sign up to participate, adopt Lego products, assemble in the form of building blocks, and program in the form of graphic connection, which is very suitable for the characteristics of preparatory students. Judging from the participation of students, the number of participants has increased year by year, reaching 40 last year and 109 this year.
Popularization of skills: in the form of compulsory courses for the first grade of junior high school, the popularization effect is achieved, and the single chip microcomputer is used as the carrier to play a popularization role through students' welding assembly, downloading programs, self-programming and standard assessment.
Research improvement: In view of the intelligent robot enthusiasts emerging in the first two items, the school selects activists from the students in Grade Two, Grade Three, Grade One and Grade Two, and organizes them to conduct research and creative development by forming interest groups. The research group is divided into four categories: Lego group (group 7), single chip microcomputer group (group 2), ability storm group (group 2) and future star group (group 2).

More than 50%, there are five interest groups set up in their spare time, Lego, single chip microcomputer, ability storm, future star and computer network group. Over the years, the school's science and technology education has been combined with all aspects, popularization and improvement, and activities and competitions, especially intelligent robots, which have laid the foundation for the school's science and technology education to build plateaus and peaks. The production and programming of intelligent robots have been popularized in schools, and the student participation rate has reached more than 80%. At the same time, a group of activists emerged and participated in various competitions in the district, city and country, and achieved excellent results.
In the process of science and technology education, a number of outstanding science and technology instructors like Mr. Ye Xinjian have emerged. After eight years' efforts, the first extracurricular tutoring class for robots was established in 2000. Today's robot class is gone, replaced by Southwest Vocational Education Robot Society, which has the title of excellent club in Xuhui District and is well-known in Shanghai. Driven by the robot course, the school is thriving, and a large number of small science and technology stars have been trained, with numerous achievements and numerous awards. In 2006, Southwest Vocational Education Science and Technology Team won 6 national science and technology competitions, 26 municipal prizes and 4 district prizes. Incomplete statistics show that there are more than 60 winners. In 2007, it won 3 international science and technology competitions, including national 1, municipal1,and district-level 2. The number of winners is not completely estimated at 30.
