Where is Mulan paddock?

Mulan paddock is located in Weichang County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, the northeast of Hebei Province (Weichang Manchu and Mongolian Autonomous County, Chengde City), and the grassland of Inner Mongolia. Since ancient times, it has been a grassland rich in water plants and animals.

"Li Qian Pine Forest" was once the hunting place of Liao emperors, and "Mulan paddock" was also the place where Qing emperors held "Mulan Begging for Immortals". In A.D. 168 1 year, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty opened more than 10,000 square kilometers of hunting grounds here to exercise the army.

In the first half of the Qing Dynasty, the emperor led princes and ministers and soldiers of the Eight Banners to hunt here every year, which was called "Mulan Qiuxian" in history. In the more than 40 years from Kangxi to Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty, Mulan's quest for immortality was held here 105 times.

Tourism information:

1, clothing and equipment:

There is a great temperature difference between morning and evening in Mulan paddock. In addition to some warm clothes, you should also have sunscreen, windproof hat and gloves, as well as shoes for climbing mountains (riding boots can be rented locally).

Flashlight is the most basic equipment, because most grassland lighting relies on moonlight and starlight. Don't wear sunglasses, hats and sunscreen if you don't want to get a tan.

2. Precautions:

It usually takes two or three days to visit Mulan paddock. Try to avoid weekends (weekends need to be booked in advance), otherwise accommodation may be a problem.

Take photos in the paddock in winter, pay attention to antifreeze, prepare more batteries when using electronic shutter cameras, avoid sighing at the scenery, and pay attention to prevent sudden heavy rain in summer.
