What are the aesthetic laws and how to treat the beauty in life?
Before studying the aesthetic principle of art, we must first know what art is and what aesthetics is.
What exactly is art? This is an abstract and broad concept. Just as everything has contradictions, there are contradictions everywhere at any time. Art is also universal. Art exists in every corner of society and nature. We are surrounded by art, such as a pen in our hand, a book, a pot of flowers on the windowsill, a mold in the hand of a mold maker, a painting in the hand of a painter, every word written by a calligrapher is art, the clothes we wear, the hairstyle on our heads, and the gestures we make are all art, but these arts all need to be processed and created. For example, a mold is carefully conceived, designed and processed by designers. A painting is carefully created by a painter. It embodies the painter's painstaking efforts; A sentence will only be said after the speaker has thought it over. Different people say the same sentence with different effects, and the same person says it in different ways or in different tones with different effects. So art needs to be processed and created. However, some artistic entities do not have the carrier of processing and transformation, but require artists to create, fiction and design subjectively through their own imagination. For example, in the creation of novels, the characters in some novels are completely fictional. It can be seen that "art is the object created by artists". (1) Art does not describe what has happened, it is a kind of creation, and it can and should be fictional.
So, what is aesthetics?
To know what aesthetics is, we must first make clear what beauty is. Beauty is everywhere, mountains and rivers, grasslands, rivers and oceans. In the embrace of nature, in the field of social life, in the palace of literature and art, beauty is everywhere, leaving traces of beauty everywhere.
However, what is beauty?
What is beauty is the essence of beauty, which is a complex and ancient proposition. As early as more than 2000 years ago, Socrates (469-399 BC), an ancient Greek scientist, had discussed this issue with sophists, but he did not get satisfactory results. He could only exclaim: "Beauty is difficult" until Diderot put forward that "beauty lies in relationship". Kant put forward that "beauty is a purposeful form"; Hegel put forward that "beauty is the expression of sensibility"; Chernyshevski put forward the concepts of "beauty is life". Have a rational understanding of the problem of beauty. But different theories can only make the definition of beauty inconclusive, and the question of what beauty is has not been solved. Some people think that beauty is an idea, a product of subjective feelings, and things are beautiful because people think it is beautiful. Some people think that beauty is the beauty of form and object, and beauty lies in symmetry, harmony and appropriate examples between various parts of form. It is believed that the concept of beauty completely denies the objective existence of beauty and that beauty is a formal object. Although it looks for the source of beauty from the objective attributes of things, it leaves people's social life, ignores people's social practice and ignores people's subjective assumptions and feelings. Reduce beauty only to some natural attribute of things. It can be said that these views are unscientific. Engels once said: "We must re-study all history and study in detail the conditions for the existence of various social forms. Then try to find out the corresponding political, private law, aesthetics, philosophy, religion and other viewpoints from these conditions. " ⑵ To understand the essence and define the concept of beauty, we must proceed from the objective reality and closely connect with the rich aesthetic activities of human beings. Explore the essence of beauty from the rich aesthetic activities of human beings. So, what is beauty? Where is the beauty? Is it in the material, in the heart? Is beauty the objective attribute of things or the subjective consciousness of people? Beauty is not in things, nor in the heart? Beauty is the objective attribute of things? Or people's subjective consciousness? The root of beauty lies deep in human social practice, which is gradually formed and developed by human beings in practice. The root of beauty lies in the objectification of human essential strength. Man's essential strength refers to man's free and conscious life activities. And the qualities that people show in various creative activities, such as personality, thoughts, emotions, ideals, wishes, wisdom, talents and so on. It is the concrete embodiment of man's essential strength, and beauty cannot be separated from the colorful life created by man's own essential strength. No matter in nature, social life or art field, all beautiful images vividly show the image of human essential strength. Because concrete, sensible and brilliant images can stimulate people's emotions and may make people feel beautiful. Beauty is the perceptual expression of people's essential strength.
