This is the second week of work. Compared with the previous week, my thoughts have changed a little. It took me a day to go back to the dormitory to watch movies and play games. This life makes me feel a little breathless. This is not the life I want. I can't do it. I must study hard. For the future, I can never give up studying.

I learned a lot this week that I couldn't learn at school. Graphic design is a comprehensive subject, a very important subject in modern advertising, and also a kind of "selling method". It is closely related to painting, photography, printing, network and other disciplines. In graphic design, we need to use visual elements to spread the designer's ideas and plans, and use words and graphics to convey information to the public so that people can understand your ideas and plans through these visual elements. This is the definition of our design. An excellent design work should be based on whether it touches others' eyes and conveys the information behind it smoothly.

Graphic design layout is a process of organically combining different elements, and its design elements mainly include: title, text, background, color tone, main picture, blank space, visual center and so on.

We have learned a variety of graphic processing and expression techniques in the three major components, such as contrast, analogy, exaggeration, symmetry, primary and secondary, light and shade, change, repetition, contradiction, radiation, rhythm, thickness, cold and warm, area and other forms. In addition, there are hand-drawn effects from graphic processing effects, such as oil painting, pencils, watercolors, prints, crayons, graffiti, and others such as photography and old photos. The choice of expression depends on your purpose and target group, as well as your design level.

What I did this week was similar to last week, except that I did more work and was much more skilled than last week. I read and study after work every day. For my design industry, I must have a solid foundation. Painting, photography, printing, color, etc. They are all subjects I want to study and strengthen.

I also found that what I learned at school was not enough for my work. It seems that I have to strengthen my professional knowledge.
