Can we still cross from Simatai Great Wall to Jinshanling Great Wall?

From Gubeikou to Simatai, there are three sections of the Great Wall, namely Panlongshan Great Wall, Jinshanling Great Wall and Simatai Great Wall. Between Panlong Mountain and Jinshanling, there is also a section of the Great Wall in the military restricted zone, which must be bypassed.

These three sections of the Great Wall are all ticketing Great Wall, Simatai and Panlong Mountain are under the jurisdiction of Miyun County, Beijing, and Jinshanling sandwiched between them is under the jurisdiction of Luanping County, Hebei Province. According to our itinerary, Simatai and Jinshanling cannot evade tickets, and Panlongshan can.

Jinshanling section of the Great Wall is magnificent in scale, with undulating mountains and surrounded by all sides, which is most suitable for hiking.

The existing Jinshanling Great Wall was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty, and the righteous poems and inscriptions left by General Qi Jiguang in the Ming Dynasty can be seen everywhere. The building of the Great Wall is complex, with numerous enemy towers. The building conditions vary from mountain to mountain, and the building is exquisite.

The balcony at the top of Jinshanling Mountain is called "wangjinglou". The building is divided into two floors, standing on the roof overlooking the gateball mountain in Chengde in the north and the outline of Beijing in the south. The section of the Great Wall at the top of the general has a steep mountain wall more than a foot wide and more than 300 brick steps, which are called "ladder", and several branches go straight up and down. Climbing the "ladder" is a tall and straight "Andromeda Peak", lonely and steep. There is also a "Andromeda Tower" on the peak, which is often shrouded in clouds, so it is also a "pavilion in the fog".

There is a hot spring at the mountain pass at the foot of the Great Wall in Jinshanling. The spring water is kept above 30℃ all the year round. If tourists come here in summer and autumn, they can bathe in the water. This mountain pass is named "Warm Spring Mouth".

Jinshanling Great Wall is slightly less steep than the eastern section of Simatai, but it is also full of game.

Jinshanling Great Wall is relatively well preserved; Bricks are golden yellow, far away from big cities, with few people, convenient transportation and convenient parking spaces. There is no traffic jam in Badaling, and there is no sea of people in the scenic spot. The photography here is ideal. Tell the ticket inspector that the ticket can remain valid for two days (make sure the ticket inspector signs it! )。

There are several farmhouses near the "Jinshanling" scenic spot in Hebei Province, which can solve the catering problem. Everybody 40 yuan, everybody! If the accommodation is around 50 yuan per person. There is a big temperature difference in Jinshanling during the day! If you watch the sunset, you'd better bring a flashlight. It is necessary to walk down the mountain.
