5. Art theory.

This major is quite common in art colleges. Almost all art colleges offer art theory majors. However, there are also a few art theory majors in universities, such as music, dance, drama, film and television, etc. The author will explain them separately.

Art colleges with better majors include Eight Fine Arts Institutes, Tsinghua Fine Arts Institute, China Communication University and Sichuan Conservatory of Music.

Registration conditions for art candidates:

Support the four cardinal principles, love the motherland and abide by the law; Have a high school education or equivalent, be healthy and unmarried. Apply for acting, screenwriter, composer, director, historical theory, no more than 30 years old, and marriage is not limited; Apply for other majors, no more than 25 years old; Citizens with special contributions and talents, recommended by their units, can be appropriately relaxed to apply for various majors, and marriage is not limited.

Employees of state-owned and collective enterprises and institutions that meet the above conditions may apply for the examination with the consent of their units. Graduates of secondary art schools and military soldiers, graduates of non-art secondary specialized schools and technicians who have worked for two years with the approval of the political department at the corps level may apply for the examination.

Physical conditions and health requirements:

Candidates who apply for art colleges (majors) are required to be in good health, and must not be color blind or weak, except in accordance with the "Physical Examination Standards for Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities (Revised)" promulgated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health. The age of candidates applying for the major of historical theory can be relaxed to 30 years old, and marriage is not limited. Candidates with special contributions and talents are recommended by their units and approved by the Provincial Admissions Office. Their age can be appropriately relaxed, and marriage is not limited.

To apply for music, film and television colleges (majors), candidates are required: no stuttering, no color blindness and weak color. Unmarried young people under the age of 22 can apply for performance and performance majors; Unmarried young people under the age of 25 can apply for other majors; Candidates applying for composition major should apply for broadcasting host major. The height of men should not be less than 172 cm, and that of women should not be less than 160 cm (strictly according to the height limit).
