Is the bigger the aperture, the brighter it is?

The bigger, the brighter.

The aperture of digital products is a device used to control the amount of light entering the photosensitive surface inside the fuselage through the lens. Represented by the letter F, the smaller the value of F, the larger the aperture, the more light entering, the brighter the photo and the shallower the depth of field! On the contrary, the larger the F value, the smaller the aperture, the less light entering, the darker the photo and the deeper the depth of field. That is to say, the larger the aperture, the shallower the depth of field and the more blurred the background.

Characteristics of pore size

The aperture of the same lens is relative, mainly because of the difference between the amount of light entering and the depth of field. First of all, the aperture size is inversely proportional to the aperture value, that is, the aperture of F 1 point 8 is larger than that of F2 point 8. The smaller the light input, the larger the aperture value, and the brighter the photos taken under the same ISO and shutter speed.

Three elements of photography: aperture, shutter and ISO

hole

It is the component that controls the size of the transparent aperture in the lens, also called the focal ratio, which is expressed by F value. The larger the f value, the smaller the aperture.

shutter

It is a device in the camera to control the time of light irradiation on the sensor, that is, to control the length of exposure time.

Difference between different shutter speeds

It is usually expressed in seconds (s), and the usual control range of the camera is 1/8000s-30s. For the camera, the wider the control range, the better.

Sensitivity refers to the sensitivity of photosensitive elements to light. The higher the value, the more sensitive it is to light. ISO value can also be regarded as the magnification of light source signal in cmos chip with amplifier circuit.
