From February 2020 1, with the development of the epidemic, Hubei Province began to use helicopters to carry out emergency rescue tasks. In the past few days, helicopters of several navigation companies have carried out various emergency tasks.
As a special aircraft, helicopter has played a very important role in various disaster relief. Based on the characteristics of helicopter vertical take-off and landing, compared with ground transportation, it plays an irreplaceable role in earthquake, typhoon, flood, forest fire fighting, medical evacuation, land and water search and rescue and so on. The biggest advantage of helicopter is to overcome the ground traffic interruption caused by complex terrain and disasters by using its take-off and landing characteristics.
Because disasters often cause ground traffic disruption, it is the only choice to use aircraft to carry out rescue missions in this case. Helicopters have very low restrictions on landing sites, and can even use hovering lift to directly rescue without landing, which is irreplaceable in the event of a disaster.
In this epidemic war, many local helicopters in Hubei participated in the rescue operation. Here, let's take stock of the helicopters that have been put into disaster relief.
AW 109 is a 3-ton twin-engine light helicopter developed by agusta, Italy.197/KLOC-0 made its first flight in August, 1975 obtained evidence, and 1976 was put into use. It is widely used in police law enforcement, search, medical rescue, administrative transportation, offshore operations, news gathering and other fields.
The aircraft has the fastest flight speed, strong wind resistance, large effective load, excellent flight performance and safety performance, making it one of the best-selling light twin-engine helicopters in the world today.
AW 109 Trekker is the latest model of AW 109 series, which was certified and put into use in 20 18. This helicopter changes AW 109 series retractable wheeled landing gear into fixed skid landing gear, and the cockpit adopts advanced Genesys aviation system cockpit.
AW 109 Trekker helicopter integrates a number of safety equipment, including cocoon fuselage, anti-collision fuel system, and dry main gearbox working in high temperature environment for 30 minutes, with A-class performance. The official model of this plane is AW 109S, but many aviation enthusiasts are used to calling it AW 109T.
This time it was a B-706U helicopter, which was delivered on 20 19. Is a brand-new helicopter, stationed in Wuhan to carry out emergency medical rescue mission.
AW 109S is a double-engine configuration, which is safer than a single-engine elevator in high-rise cities. At the same time, the aircraft is small and flexible, and is gradually replacing the company's original single-engine AW 1 19 helicopter for medical rescue flights over big cities.
This helicopter carried out emergency medical supplies transportation twice on February 1 day and February 4.
On June 5438+0, it was directly airlifted from Xiantao factory to the stadium near wuhan union hospital, and thousands of protective clothing and tens of thousands of masks were delivered.
On the 4th, medical supplies were airlifted from Wuhan to Huanggang and Ezhou, of which it only took 16 minutes to fly to Huanggang and 27 minutes to arrive in Ezhou, which greatly improved the efficiency.
Mi-17 1 is a 13-ton large helicopter developed by the former Soviet Union/Russia, which was improved on the basis of the early Mi -8.
The first flight of Mi -8 helicopter 1965. It is a kind of helicopter with a wide range of uses, and it has a large number of equipment in military and civil affairs all over the world.
Mi-17 1 is a deep improvement of Mi -8, which was put into use on 199 1. The Chinese Army Air Force also has a lot of equipment. Mi-17 1C is a further improvement of mi-171. The nose shape was modified to improve the field of vision, and the left and right doors were replaced with tail springboard. It is a civilian type of military Mi-17 1E helicopter.
Civil Mi-17 1 series helicopters are widely used in forest fire prevention and lifting transportation in China, and are often seen in forest fire fighting in China. Qingdao Helicopter Company has several Mi-17 1 series helicopters, which are on standby at forest fire prevention stations all over the country.
The helicopter involved in epidemic prevention and rescue this time is a forest fire fighting standby helicopter stationed at Wuhan Hannan General Airport. Of course, as a transport helicopter, a large helicopter should be familiar with the emergency delivery of epidemic prevention materials.
On February/KLOC-0 and February 5, these two helicopters airlifted a large number of medical supplies and equipment from Wuhan to several prefecture-level cities in Hubei Province. The tonnage is large, and each helicopter can carry about 3 tons of materials, which effectively supports the epidemic prevention and control work of prefecture-level cities under Hubei Province.
The Mi-17 1 series helicopters are large in size and poor in maneuverability, which makes it inconvenient to fly in cities with many tall buildings, but they are very suitable for emergency materials transportation between cities.
These helicopters are resident helicopters in Hubei Province, which are uniformly deployed and used by the Hubei Provincial Emergency Office.
As a part of the national emergency system construction, emergency offices all over the country have signed agreements with navigation companies, which belong to the nature of purchasing services.
The normal maintenance and guarantee of the helicopter is the responsibility of the navigation enterprise, and it is uniformly dispatched by the emergency office when it is used. The enterprise is responsible for the examination and approval of the flight plan and flight support in the professional field, and the expenses are uniformly settled by the enterprise according to the agreement. This mode of operation is universal in the world, which can effectively use resources and save costs.
In addition, Wuhan has an air power to use.
Wuhan is the earliest place to set up police aviation force in China and the birthplace of police aviation in China. As early as 1993, Wuhan established a police aviation unit with an engstrom FX280 helicopter.
Since 20 14, Wuhan police aviation has been equipped with a brand-new three-ton Airbus EC 135 helicopter, which is mainly used for air patrol and public security prevention and control. As the official air force, Wuhan Police Aviation has more advantages than civil aviation enterprises in terms of use coordination and airspace approval, and can also participate in emergency rescue operations when necessary.
In addition to the above helicopters, on February 4th and 5th, three helicopters airlifted medical supplies from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces to Hubei, namely, the three-ton Bell 429 helicopter B-7488 of Shanghai Xinhangtong and the six-ton AW 139 helicopter B-70GD of Jin Hui Navigation Trust. Both helicopters departed from Shanghai and flew to Hubei after stopping in Hefei.
Bell 429, carrying about 400 kilograms of goods, arrived in Hefei on the evening of February 3, stayed in Hefei for the night, arrived at Wuhan Tianhe Airport on the morning of February 4, and flew to the stadium next to wuhan union hospital after completing the relevant procedures.
AW 139 Helicopter B-70GD is a luxury VIP helicopter. In order to carry out this transportation task, all the seats in the cabin were removed and about 550 kilograms of materials were loaded. Arrived in Huanggang, Hubei Province on the afternoon of February 5, and the materials were sent to the epidemic prevention blockade line.
Another helicopter, B-70AP, a 5-ton H 155 helicopter jointly guaranteed by Zhejiang Desheng Navigation and Hangzhou Gaozhi Navigation, was transferred from Meishan Base in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province to Xinchang Feng Wan General Airport on February 4th. After loading about 1 ton of medical supplies, special epidemic prevention equipment and two professional epidemic prevention and disinfection personnel, it took off early on February 5 and docked in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi.
These helicopters are non-governmental activities, and most of them transport materials donated by social groups and charities outside the province. Its successful operation provides valuable experience and a brand-new model for the subsequent emergency transportation of folk materials.
Because this is an epidemic prevention and blocking war, there is no ground traffic interruption, and even because of control, road traffic is more efficient and smooth than usual, so helicopter rescue, the most advantageous search and rescue operation, is useless.
Because of the particularity of epidemic prevention and control of infectious diseases, even medical helicopters cannot transfer critically ill patients to hospitals.
Therefore, at this stage, the use of helicopters in epidemic areas is mainly based on emergency delivery of materials. As a helicopter born for the initial purpose of transportation, this is the most basic ability.
Compared with heavy trucks on the ground, the load capacity of helicopters is far less than that of heavy trucks on the ground, the use cost is much higher than that of ground transportation, and the range and speed are far less than that of fixed-wing aircraft. Therefore, it is not the best choice to use helicopters for large-scale inter-provincial long-distance air transportation.
In order to give full play to the role of helicopters and make full use of all rescue resources, we can make use of the characteristics of helicopters and establish a special operation process.
For example, the process of material air transportation is divided into two parts: long-distance inter-provincial transportation and rapid transportation in the province. Fixed-wing transport aircraft and ground transportation forces are responsible for inter-provincial, long-distance and large-scale transportation tasks; Small materials and equipment that are particularly urgent in subordinate prefecture-level cities can be transported by helicopter quickly, and conventional land transportation can be used for materials that are not particularly urgent and in large quantities.
Especially in the short-distance emergency transportation between cities, the advantages of helicopters are the most obvious, so the air traffic control department can coordinate and plan several fixed routes and temporary take-off and landing points, and strive to fly at any time.
By optimizing the process, the cost-effectiveness ratio of transportation will reach the best, providing sufficient material support for frontline epidemic prevention personnel.
To sum up, although the epidemic prevention battlefield is not the best field for helicopters, it can still undertake a lot of support work, and making full and reasonable use of these resources can bring a very strong guarantee for epidemic prevention.
