Can glossy photo paper be frosted?

Personally, I don’t think it’s possible, because the ID photo needs to be clear, and it all depends on personal preference. Typically matte photo paper is used for portraits. High-gloss photo paper is suitable for most subjects, especially landscapes and product photos. However, I have to say that there is a disadvantage of matte photo paper. If after a few years, you want to scan or retake photos on matte photo paper, the photos you get will not be clear.
