The voltage of static electricity is very high, which can reach several hundred thousand volts. It is easy to ionize the surrounding air and neutralize static electricity, which is also the reason why electrostatic experiments are sometimes difficult to succeed. The static electricity generated when taking off the sweater leads to a high-voltage electric field around, and the lamp tube or led in the desk lamp is instantly ignited by the electric field, so that the desk lamp will light up, but because the current is too small and the time is short, the light looks weak.
