How to improve the quality of photo shooting?

1. Select high-quality photographic equipment and film.

As the saying goes, if a worker wants to do a good job, he must sharpen his tools first. Similarly, to take high-quality photos, the first and most important thing is to choose high-quality photographic equipment and film. At present, there are many kinds of cameras and lenses, so it is not easy to choose a suitable camera and lens. But there is no doubt that it is very beneficial to obtain high-quality images by choosing as large a camera as possible and high-quality matching lenses according to the subject. As for film, because the sensitivity of film is intrinsically related to its contrast, latitude, granularity, resolution, haze and preservation, the film with low sensitivity has great advantages in color saturation, granularity, resolution and haze, so the principle of choosing film is to choose the film with low sensitivity as much as possible.

2. Accurate exposure

Set the shutter speed and aperture size, press the shutter, and let the light interact with the film through the lens at the moment when the shutter is opened. This is exposure. Exposure seems simple, but it is actually a very important technical control, which not only directly affects the density of the basement membrane, but also affects the color, clarity, texture and level of the image. Accurate exposure depends on accurate photometry. It is essential for accurate exposure to master the photometric principles of various exposure meters and make reasonable corrections to the photometric values under various shooting situations and requirements.

Accurate focusing

Sometimes you will encounter such an embarrassing phenomenon: a negative is made into a small photo, and the subject is quite clear; But when enlarged into a large photo, the clear part of the photo falls outside the main body, and the main body is blurred. This phenomenon is often caused by inaccurate focusing when shooting. Using a small camera like 135, it is particularly important to focus accurately. Generally speaking, to achieve accurate focusing, we must pay attention to the following two points: use high-powered eyepieces as much as possible, and high-powered images are very helpful for accurate focusing. When using a wide-angle lens, it is especially necessary to focus carefully. Don't think that the wide-angle lens has a large depth of field and is careless in focusing. In fact, it is easy to focus accurately with a telephoto lens, but it is often difficult with a wide-angle lens.

4. Strict depth of field control

For depth of field control, we need to understand these two points: according to the calculation formula of depth of field, the front and rear depth of field are not equal, and the back depth of field is always greater than the foreground depth of field. Therefore, when controlling the depth of field, we can't take it for granted to focus on the center of the depth of field, so the foreground depth will often be insufficient. The depth of field is not only related to the aperture size, lens focal length and shooting distance, but also related to the diameter of the blurred circle allowed by the image, and the diameter of the blurred circle is related to the magnification of the negative and the distance to watch the photo. In fact, the depth of field scale on the lens is marked by the manufacturer according to the magnification set by himself. Therefore, when taking a huge photo, the depth of field scale marked on the lens should be controlled more strictly, otherwise it is easy to appear the phenomenon of depth of the scene.
