In the morning, facing the morning sun, we drove along National Highway 227 to Qilian County. National Highway 227 starts from Xining, passes through Datong, Qingshizui, Ebao, Biandukou and Minle to Zhangye, with a total length of 34 1km, crosses Datong River and Babao River, crosses Daban Mountain, Jingyang Mountain and Oberling Mountain, crosses Qilian Mountain, and finally connects with National Highway 3 12 in Zhangye. It is one of the three most beautiful national roads in legend, and the other two are National Roads 2 14 and 3 18. The most beautiful moment of the year is in July and August. At this time, rape blossoms are in full bloom, and large-scale mature highland barley is very magnificent. The scenery along the way is very beautiful, including Heiquanhe Reservoir, Chahan River, Dabanshan Observation Deck at Menyuan, Gangshika Xuefeng and Biandukou. Hundreds of kilometers of rape fields and highland barley fields are mixed together, which is spectacular.

Driving from Xining, after the source of Huahaimen, you really entered the Qilian Mountains. The beauty of Qinghai begins here. I think the beauty of Qinghai lies in the majestic beauty and gorgeous beauty of Qilian Mountain grassland. Qilian Mountain Grassland is one of the six most beautiful grasslands in China. Qilian Mountain is a towering mountain with a vast territory, which can be described as a leader mountain. This mountain range is about 1000 km long from east to west and 200-300 km wide from north to south. There are countless exotic flowers and grasses in the mountains, and there are more than 3,000 glaciers and many water systems such as Heihe River, Shiyang River, Shule River and Beida River. Such a huge mountain range, standing on that commanding height, in all directions, is Qian Shan Wanling, vast and boundless.

After driving along the national highway 227 through Osaka Mountain, the temperature suddenly dropped. Throughout the Hexi Corridor, vast tracts of wasteland have completely disappeared here. Looking around, there are mountains, vast clouds, pure snow peaks and trembling souls. The roads are winding and the mountains are rolling. The mountains are endless, the grass is lush, and the forest is dyed. Occasionally, the ground is littered with black and white pearls of sheep and yaks. The crops in Hexi Corridor have been basically harvested, but the crops in Qilian Mountain are not ripe yet. Rape, highland barley and a few wheat crops are black and yellow, colorful, complicated and inlaid with each other. China National Geographic magazine describes Qilian Mountain as follows: It is because of Qilian Mountain, glaciers and mountain rainfall that rivers can develop, Hexi Corridor can be bred and the Silk Road can be built.

Further up, the mountains are angular, and full of green is full of pines and cypresses, like a lush island in a green ocean; The skin of the mountain occasionally exposed on the grass is like the billowing waves in the blue waves. The waves rolled to the top of the mountain and the end of the sky.

Zhuo'er Mountain in Qilian Mountain belongs to Danxia landform. We can vaguely see her red skin from the edge of the green skirt. Especially in Shanbei, she shows her sincere mind and endless charm and tenderness. Her back is facing the rolling mountains, and the peaks reveal the shadow of Xuefeng from time to time through the cracks of white clouds, which is boundless and dignified; The delicate and smooth shoulders are covered with a layer of gauze, which is green and dense, and the latosolic red skin is looming from under this layer of gauze, even showing nothing. No wonder, that affectionate Amidongso kept looking at her like this.

Come to Qilian county, it is the rainy season here. After a drizzle, I can't wait to see the beautiful scenery hidden in the depths of Qilian Canyon. Driving to Zhuo'er Mountain, suddenly, an open valley miraculously appeared in front of me, and the unrestrained flatness suddenly opened my eyes. Dark green grasslands and light green wheat fields extend to the top of distant mountains and clouds. Clouds are swaying, blocking the sunshine, dividing the grassland and wheat fields into bright or dark intervals. White clouds and dark clouds, blue sky and Cangshan, red stones and green grass are bright and solemn, and the bright white houses in the distance make the sky even and intoxicating.

Qilian Mountain is an important mountain range in China. Qilian Mountain has a pulse length of 1000 km and a width of 300 km. Seen from the territory of China, Qilian Mountain runs through the north and south, magnificent and endless. If your impression of the northwest is only vast and rugged, then the grassland under Qilian Mountain makes you feel the softness from the western plateau that can touch your heartstrings.

August is the most beautiful season in Qilian Mountain. Because of the cold plateau climate, her spring begins in August. Large tracts of highland barley are as green as carpets, and rape blossoms are as bright as brocade, covering fields and hillsides. Highland barley and rape flowers are green and yellow, changing various shapes under the swaying clouds and bringing out the best in each other. The green is deep, and the yellow is thick and dazzling. Sunlight took the opportunity to drill out of the cracks in the clouds and spread a lot of golden warmth to the earth. The misty mountains are like newly-married brides wearing red gauze, with low eyebrows and shy faces. There was an intoxicating pastoral song on the grassland, which lasted for a long time. Qilian Mountain is like a dream.

After a sudden thunderstorm, I looked into the distance and saw that the mountains in the distance were still hazy, the earth was covered with a layer of mist, and the fiery red sun showed half of my face. There was a light in the blue sky, and a few drops of rain hit the window. The air is very fresh after the rain. Just then, a red line flashed into my eyes, and then, the two ends of the red line gradually drooped, forming the shape of a bridge, which was very beautiful. The flowers and trees on the grassland are more moving under the rainbow, and the Qilian Mountain peak in the distance is brighter. Standing on the top of the Zall Mountain, looking at the rainbow in front of me, it is so close to me, so low, as if I can touch it with my hands.

Zhuo'er Mountain is not high, with an altitude of 2,787 meters; It's not big. The Fiona Fang at the top of the mountain is less than one square kilometer. But it faces the towering snow peaks of Niuxin Mountain, and one mountain can see four seasons, so that all tourists in midsummer feel a refreshing holy respect here. Niuxin Mountain is tall and straight, and the white snow in the ravine at the top of the mountain adds to its handsomeness and chic against the backdrop of pale yellow rape flowers and green wheat fields, green grass slopes and pines and cypresses. Legend has it that the Tibetan name of Niuxinshan is Amidongsuo, which is the mountain of Zhenshan in Qilian Mountain. Zhuo'er Mountain and I are a couple, delicate, echoing each other across the Babel River. For thousands of years, it has protected this sacred land.

Zhuo'er Mountain belongs to Danxia landform and consists of red sandstone and conglomerate. Located in Babao Town, Qilian County, across the river from Amidongsuo (Niuxinshan) of Shenshan. Standing on the top of the Zall Mountain, the view is extremely wide and there are no obstacles around. Opposite the mountain is Niuxin Mountain with a panoramic view of the four seasons, and on the back is the rolling Qilian Mountain.

At sunset, after the rain, Qilian Mountain, like a kind mother, lay quietly on the grassland, flushed with laughter, watching her children so happy, so energetic and so verve on this fertile soil.

Qilian Mountain is really beautiful! Standing on the observation deck, looking from a distance, a high wall is general, and the distant mountains are endless and span the sky. Several peaks are still covered with snow, and they can be distinguished even in the vast fog.

Qilian Mountain means "heaven" in Xiongnu language. How many places in the world are called "paradise"? If I don't come to Qilian, maybe I will never believe that there is such a place comparable to the mountains and rivers in the south in the northwest wasteland. Qilian Mountain in the distance is like a pen full of ink, and every place looks full and full. The fresh air with earthy breath, wrapped in the faint fragrance of weeds, washed away the dust in the northwest. Under the blue sky, there is a clean and peaceful atmosphere, with green everywhere, which makes people feel refreshed.

Qilian Mountain Grassland is one of the most beautiful grasslands in China, with picturesque scenery, endless pastures, fragrant wild flowers, fat cattle and sheep and melodious pastoral songs. There are no excessively delicate flowers or flying butterflies here. Even the green of the mountain has an elegant feeling. Occasionally birds pass overhead in the lush forest, but suddenly they disappear without a trace. It's too quiet here, but there is a feeling of paradise in the empty area with few people. A busy and anxious heart seems to be relaxed and comforted here.

Careless cattle and sheep on the hillside make people feel the peace of life. The houses scattered on the grass in the mountains are like small fishing sails in the rippling sea, shining in the morning, showing a serene, harmonious, generous and majestic western scenery.

The Heihe Grand Canyon in Qilian County. The Heihe Grand Canyon, with a total length of more than 800 kilometers, has an average elevation of more than 4,200 meters, of which 70 kilometers is a "no man's land". Heihe River, which crosses the canyon, is the second largest inland river in China, flowing through Qinghai, Gansu and Inner Mongolia provinces, and is known as the "Mother River of Hexi Corridor". Due to the unique geographical conditions and climatic factors, the plateau animal and plant resources of Heihe Grand Canyon are extremely rich, making it an ideal place for tourism exploration.

I drove to Dadongshuyakou at an altitude of 4 120 meters, and a vast sea of clouds appeared in front of me. Snow-white clouds roll, collide and squeeze in the air like waves Qilian County, located in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, has a high altitude, a cold climate and little precipitation, and the probability of a large sea of clouds is very low. It is not easy to see such a spectacular sea of clouds at the top of Qilian Mountain.

Over the Dadongshu Pass at an altitude of 4 120.6 meters, it is truly the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Dadongshuyakou is very high above sea level, rocky and difficult to walk. If you walk faster, you will feel chest tightness, shortness of breath and headache. In order to catch the sea of clouds, I climbed to the top of the mountain at an altitude of more than 5000 meters. Although it was only a short distance of more than two kilometers, I walked for more than two hours. Unfortunately, when we reached the top of the mountain, the sea of clouds had disappeared by half.

Panshan Highway in Dadong Shuyakou is also the highest stage of cycling race around Qinghai Lake, with an altitude of 4120m.

Qilian horse is well-proportioned, stout, energetic, resistant to rough feeding, good adaptability, excellent speed and endurance, and is a good horse for carrying and riding.
