Who is the famous explorer in China?
Liu Yutian was the first professional explorer in the history of China. Liu Yutian, born on February 26th, 1942, a native of Changge County, Henan Province, was originally a cadre of Urumqi Railway Bureau in Xinjiang. Facing the challenge of foreigners,1May, 984, he resolutely gave up everything and started hiking on the Great Wall in Wan Li. After more than a year's arduous journey, he became the first person in the world to climb the Great Wall of Wan Li.
After that, he walked through the Silk Road, Loess Plateau, Lop Nur, Xinjiang, climbed gladys and Kunlun Snow Mountain, visited Shennongjia Savage, Himalayan Snowman, Rongbu Glacier, traveled along the Himalayas and Yarlung Zangbo River, tried to climb Mount Everest, and crossed five deserts in China, such as Taklimakan and Gurbantong Antiquities, for three times.
So far, he has completed 43 research, travel and exploration projects. Hundreds of newspapers, magazines and televisions in the world can report his adventures, calling him "a rare traveler and explorer in the world in the 20th century".
2. Yu Chunshun
Yu Chunshun, known as "Thomas of China" and "Contemporary Xu Xiake", is a rare legend. From 1 July 19881day, he began to "visit all China on foot alone", and1June 1996, he died in Lop Nur like a fallen bronze statue.
In the past eight years, he has overcome many difficulties and obstacles, traveled across mountains and rivers, visited 33 major ethnic minority areas, and completed 59 exploration projects, with a total journey of 8.4 Wan Li. Among them, he spent a year and a half crossing the "forbidden zone of life" at an altitude of about 5000 meters, braving mudslides, avalanches and altitude sickness, setting a record for exploring the "roof of the world" alone for the first time in human history.
3. Xu Xiake
Xu Hongzu, born in 1586- 164 1, was an outstanding geographer and traveler in Ming Dynasty. He loved the mountains and rivers of China all his life. In the old feudal era, he overcame unimaginable difficulties and began to travel around the country at the age of 22 to explore the mysteries of nature.

4. Jess Zhang
Zhang Qian (164- 1 14), a native of Chenggu, Hanzhong (now Chenggu County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province), was an outstanding diplomat, traveler, explorer and pioneer of the Silk Road in the Han Dynasty in China. His hometown is Wang Bo Village, 2 kilometers south of Chenggu County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province.
Zhang Qian is full of pioneering and adventurous spirit. In the second year of Jianyuan (BC 139), he was ordered by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, guided by Gan Fu, and led more than 100 people to the western regions, which opened up the north-south road leading to the western regions in the Han Dynasty, namely the famous Silk Road. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty named him Prince Bo for his exploits. Historian Sima Qian praised Zhang Qian's mission to the Western Regions as "hollowing out", which means "opening the way".
Zhang Qian is known as a great diplomat and explorer, "the pioneer of the Silk Road", "the first China man who opened his eyes to see the world" and "Columbus of the East". He spread the civilization of the Central Plains to the Western Regions, introduced the species of blood horse, grape, alfalfa, pomegranate and flax from the western regions to the Central Plains, and promoted the exchanges between eastern and western civilizations.
5. Zheng He
Zheng He, the Hui nationality, whose real name is Ma, was called "eunuch" in the world, and was born in Kunyang Prefecture, Yunnan Province (now Kunyang Street, Jinning). China was a eunuch, navigator and diplomat in the Ming Dynasty. Zheng He's early experience is unknown. Presumably, he was captured by the Ming army in the Pingming-Yunnan War. He went to Peiping with Fu Youde and others in 1385, and later worked for Yan. Later, because of his meritorious service in the battle of Jingnan, he was given the surname Zheng and was promoted to the eunuch of the inner official.
Zheng He was resourceful, knowing the soldiers and learning to fight. From 1405 to 1433, Zheng He made seven voyages to the Western Ocean, which made great achievements in human history. Zheng He went to the Western Ocean for the seventh time and died in Guri on 1433 (the eighth year of Xuande). The ashes were buried in the underground palace of Hongjue Temple in Nanjing, and now it is the tomb of Zheng He or its cenotaph in Niushou Mountain in Nanjing.
