When the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, I met several painters in the garden. The painters are drawing. His wife said that the place where they often go to sketch is Shatuo River, where the scenery is much better than the garden.

So, I think, I must go to Shatuo River once. Later, my colleagues and I rode more than half of Zhuge town and asked the villagers about the Shatuo River all the way, but we found nothing everywhere.

Finally, one weekend of summer vacation, while my husband was off work, my husband and I rode to find Shatuo River. My husband said that he had been to Shatuo River to fish with him. I blame him for not saying it earlier.

Shatuo River is actually very close to the city. After that, you can get there by a highway bridge. Off the highway bridge, not far away, there is a dilapidated stone bridge, and there is a village on the west side of the bridge, which is Shatuo Village; Under the bridge is Shatuo River.

In my mind, the river in the countryside should have the shadow of my hometown and my mother's hometown. The riverbed is not very wide, and pebbles, large and small, are displayed at the bottom of the river. The river flows down the river, combing the grass and rushing past; Standing on the rocks in the river, you can see small fish swimming in groups.

However, the Shatuo River here is not like this. Its coast is steep and almost upright; The river is very wide, connecting the poplar and corn fields on the shore; In shallow waters, reeds are dense and clustered together; From the river to the field, there seems to be no transition from the inclined shore, which is not what I imagined in the river at all. It is more like a lake with water.

This river is very calm. The water is full of filth and weeds. At first glance, it is a mess. I guess there must be places we haven't been to, which are more suitable for viewing and staying.

We crossed the street of Shatuo village and rode forward. At the western end of the village, the country road turns to the northwest and there is a long ramp. On the right side of the ramp is a high battlement with several abandoned caves. On the left side of the ramp, the terrain is low, and it is a piece of Yang Shulin. When I got off the ramp and looked back, it turned out that the whole Shatuo village was located on a high hill.

Along the ramp, there are two forks. Go to the fork on the left and see a small riverbed. In the riverbed, there is a shallow Shui Bo, with dense water plants and a red dragonfly rising and falling. Passing through Yang Shulin, we found a deeper river, with wide water surface and steep and uneven shore, just as we saw it when we came. There are several cars parked by the forest.

I'm a little disappointed. It really doesn't look like a place where you can enter poetry and painting. I discussed it with my husband and turned back to the fork on the right. We have to learn something.

Walking along the narrow cement township road, there are one-person-high flower and plant nurseries on both sides. Lagerstroemia indica poked its head out of the fence, and the branches of flowers reached the roadside, purple, red, pink and clusters. Every once in a while, there is a temporary hut where the workers rest.

Walking through the flower forest is a large sweet potato field. Looking to the left, there is actually a small lake. The trees in the distance are reflected in the water. Far away from the village, from the bonus of crape myrtle to the deep lake green, it seems to have passed through Tao Yuanming's peach blossom forest, and my eyes and heart are suddenly enlightened.

Keep walking. Near the road, another lake appears. There is a small continent in the middle of the lake, and green shrubs grow in the gap. A bird saw us approaching and fluttered up, and then a flock of waterfowl fluttered out of the grass. What a surprise to see so many waterfowl at once. It was my intrusion as an outsider that disturbed them.

Walk along the cement road and see another lake. Further, there is, there is. In addition to the dense reeds, there are clumps of Polygonum hydropiper in the lake. Looking west, the aquatic plants spread far away. I believe that there must be more lakes hidden in places I can't see. Polygonum hydropiper red reed white, there must be "sword armor" unknown, but also "lonely sandbar cold" bleak and sad.

The cement road turns north, turns east, and finally returns to Shatuo Village. It turns out that the only way to Shatuo is the way to Lai Shi. If it weren't for a whim, who would have expected that there would be such a world outside this village? These lakes are not as pleasant as the rivers in my mind. They grow quietly in Shan Ye like noble virgins.

My husband said that in the near future, it will be vigorously developed, and by that time, it will become a good place for vacation and leisure in Yuzhou City. I feel a little gloomy. Wild water should look like wild water. Why not let it live naturally?
