How to shoot the film with a camera?

Every time I watch a movie, I always feel that the atmosphere and texture in the movie are great, and I always wonder if I can take such a photo. With the development of science and technology, photography becomes more convenient. Although there are still many gaps with professional film shooting, it is easier for us to simulate the texture of the film. I think we should pay attention to the following points to make a "movie" feeling.

First,? aspect ratio

Most of the film scale is 1.85: 1, and there is a deformed widescreen of 2.35: 1. The photos we take can be adjusted later to make them look more like photos taken from movies, and the impression will be more "cinematic". The width of the film can often give us a broader vision and bring a strong impact to the human eye.

Second, the color.

Movies always have a very strong, obvious and unified tone. Through simple lighting and later stage, I can imitate according to different styles. For example, my favorite director, Wong Kar-wai, chose Kodak Echtachrome film during spring break. This yellowed tone will always remind people of the films produced at the most brilliant time of Hong Kong films in the last century. If a little imitation noise is artificially added in the later period, it will be more cinematic.

Third, composition

Composition is the most indispensable part of the film sense, such as three-point composition, which is the most common composition method in movies. It is not easy to make mistakes, but also highlights the theme and makes people focus on it.

Fourth, the story

Movies often tell different stories, so you can imagine the "moral" of this picture every time you shoot. People have different daydreams. While watching the photo, they can make up extra plots and create an atmosphere that belongs to this photo.

As long as the above four points are used reasonably, I believe everyone can take photos with film sense.
