Introduction to each chapter of Yuanyuantang's essays

"Yuanyuantang Essays" is Mr. Feng Zikai's main prose selection. In 1927, Feng Zikai converted to Master Hongyi and held a ceremony at his residence in Yongyili, Jiangwan. Feng Zikai also asked Master Hongyi to name his residence. Following Zunhong's instructions, Feng Zikai wrote a lot of words that he liked that could be matched with each other on small square papers. He rolled them into many small paper balls and scattered them on the altar table in front of the portrait of Sakyamuni. He took two lots and opened them. The name comes from the word "Yuan", so the residence is named "Yuanyuan Hall". Immediately ask Master Hongyi to write a "Yuanyuan Hall" banner. After Feng Zikai moved several times, he built "Yuanyuan Hall" behind the old house in his hometown of Shimenwan in 1933. Feng Zikai is a famous local cartoonist and essayist in the history of modern Chinese painting and literature. He was born in Shimen Bay, Tongxiang County, Zhejiang Province in 1898, and lived there for seventeen spring and autumn years. The customs left an indelible impression on him.
