What are the photographic compositions?

Hello, I'm a lecturer at the photo reading club. There are many kinds of photographic compositions. Let me give you a few classic examples first.

Triangular synthesis

The horizontal and vertical lines intersect to divide the picture into nine squares, and the four points where the lines intersect are the visual focus. Putting the subject on these four points can better highlight the subject. When taking pictures, put important points or lines on the three-point line roughly, and the overall picture will look better.

Diagonal composition

Diagonal composition, the connecting line between two diagonals of an object in the picture, is similar to diagonal, and the name depends on the shape. It is to arrange the subject of shooting on the diagonal of the picture, which can enhance the sense of extension and three-dimensional sense of the picture.

Symmetrical composition

The so-called symmetrical composition refers to a point or a line as the center, the shapes and sizes of both sides are consistent and symmetrical, and the colors, tones and structures of things are unified and harmonious. The shot works can give people a "quiet" sense of seriousness, mainly shooting buildings, landscapes and portraits.

Guiding line composition

Use the lines in the picture to guide the viewer's eyes. Lines and points have directionality and continuity, and at the same time make photos form a sense of depth from near to far, such as roads and bridges in life.

Foreground composition

Shooting with the occlusion of nearby objects, thus forming the contrast between reality and distance, giving the picture a sense of space and layering.

Frame composition

Frame composition is mainly to surround the scene you want to shoot with a suitable frame, set the character and tone for the shot paragraphs, and create a mysterious and depressing atmosphere.
