Detailed description of camera professional mode parameters
1, exposure compensation
Exposure compensation can be used to balance the color and brightness of objects in photos to obtain better exposure effect. EV is the unit of exposure compensation. A positive value of EV means increasing exposure, a negative value means decreasing exposure, and EV0 means normal exposure.
2、ISO
ISO is the unit of measurement for camera sensitivity. The larger the ISO value, the more sensitive it is to light. However, higher ISO values may also introduce image noise. Noise is similar to particulate impurities. So pay attention to the adjustment of sensitivity when shooting, not too high, just right.
3. Shutter speed
Shutter speed refers to the opening and closing time of camera shutter. Faster shutter speed can freeze fast moving objects, while slower shutter speed can capture motion blur effect. Not only that, the shutter speed will also affect the brightness of the picture. The faster the shutter speed, the shorter the opening time, the less light captured by the photosensitive element, and the darker the final picture, and vice versa.
4. White balance
White balance is used to adjust the color temperature in photos. Different light sources have different color temperatures, such as the color of sunlight during the day and the color of indoor lighting. Kelvin is a measure of the color temperature of light. The higher the color temperature, the colder or bluer the light. The lower the color temperature, the warmer the color of light, or the more orange/yellow it is. The change of white balance in a camera is opposite to the change of color temperature. The higher the white balance value, the warmer the hue. The lower the value, the colder the tone.
