Monitor the installation. Do I have to have a network?

The analog monitoring camera uses coaxial cable or network cable plus double-stranded cable transmitter, and the network camera uses network cable. Nowadays, many network cameras installed indoors have their own wifi modules, which can be directly connected to wifi without connecting the network cable.

The equipment used in network monitoring includes network cameras and network video servers. What you should say is the network video server. In general, video servers and cameras use 75 ohm coaxial cables to transmit video, but because of the long transmission distance and high cost, they use network cables to transmit video. However, due to the network cable itself and transmission distance, twisted-pair transmitter is used because of great attenuation.

The network cable has eight lines. If you don't need a power supply to transmit video, you can connect four cameras.

The computer connection is connected with the network card of the equipment through the network cable. If you want to use the same network cable, then use four wires for network transmission, and the remaining four wires can be connected to two cameras.

Matters needing attention in installing surveillance cameras

1. If you want to shoot high-quality images, users should pay attention to the display settings of the PC screen, and the screen color should be at least 65.000 bits. In addition, flat LED display screen is very convenient to use, but the effect is not as good as CRT screen when looking at images.

2. Usually, the dynamic adjustment ability of the camera is limited, and bright areas on the image should be avoided as much as possible, because bright images will lead to excessive exposure and objects will appear too dark. Users can adjust the exposure of the camera to get more even illumination.

3. If you want to install an IP network camera outdoors, you need to configure an outdoor housing. Outdoor cameras generally use automatic zoom lens, which can adjust the light required by the image sensor, improve the dynamic function of the camera and protect the image sensor from strong light.

4. Try to avoid direct sunlight images. Direct light will make the camera unable to capture the image, and may permanently discolor the color filter on the sensor chip, resulting in streaks in the image. If possible, the camera should be installed in the same direction as the sunlight, and try to avoid shooting at the sky.
