Which concert is the best in Chen Qizhen?

On129 and 30 October 10, I watched Chen Qizhen's large solo "The Attitude of Flowers" twice in a row. I was really happy. The venue of the performance is the Great Hall of Taipei International Convention Center, which can accommodate 8,000 spectators. At the scene, not only fans from all over Taiwan Province Province came by train day and night to watch the concert, but also a large number of fans specially came from Hongkong, Japan and even Beijing, just to miss this historic moment.

The beauty of these two "Flower Pose" concerts is that it is very rare for Chen Qizhen to go out of the campus/bar tour and return to the big venue to sing again. Although Chen Qizhen's small-scale performance is quite wonderful, and it is hard to get a ticket, the defect of small-scale performance lies in the limitation of venue. So sometimes Chen Qizhen just plays with a box piano by himself. Large-scale performances have room to play in many aspects, such as band organization, stage setting, lighting, link arrangement and so on.

The basic live performances include Zhong Chenghu (lead guitar), Cai Kunqi (rhythm guitar), Jianqi Chen (keyboard), Lin Xinyi (bass) and Chen Baizhou (drum). These people are not only the most talented and outstanding musicians in Taiwan Province today, but more importantly, this lineup is basically the lineup recorded by Chen Qizhen. In recent publicity, Chen Qizhen has always emphasized that the instruments of Gorgeous Adventure are recorded synchronously, instead of being recorded in separate tracks like ordinary singers recording albums. Because of synchronous recording, the songs in Gorgeous Adventure are full of live feeling, so when these musicians stand on the stage with Chen Qizhen, it is definitely worth looking forward to transforming their tempering and cooperation in the recording studio into tacit understanding and empathy on the stage.

On the first day of the performance, I entered as a photojournalist. To my surprise, the organizers took surprisingly good care of the reporters. Traditionally, photographers are only allowed to shoot the first three songs in a concert. After shooting, staff will guide the photographers to leave. However, in the performance on the 29th, the organizer allowed photographers to take photos of the guests leaving the venue in May, that is, reporters were allowed to take photos in the first half of the concert (16). After that, the staff just reminded photographers not to take pictures, but all acquiesced that some photographers could stay in the front row and continue to watch the performance. The next day, I bought a seat in the eighth row, which was a little left in the middle. I was very satisfied.

The first act-the flower withers.

There are many details in Chen Qizhen's performance that make fans shine. Here, we might as well start from the beginning: Leng Yan in Abandoned Village is the theme at the beginning (as far as lyrics are concerned, this song is simply a sister version of Sentimental Killing), Chen Qizhen appears in a black Gothic style that has never been shown before, like Chen Shanni is possessed ... In the following Affectionate Killing, Chen Qizhen even sings "Fuyou" dirty words like the album. Sentimental Killing is the most hysterical song in the history of Chen Qizhen (with a little shadow of Ringo Ash), so not only Chen Qizhen sings Get carried away, but Tiger is also crazy about his guitar, and he almost wants to shake his guitar. Lying in Your Wardrobe is one of Chen Qizhen's most wonderful works. This work is sent as a "guitar version" (the piano version is included in the album). It is an excellent warm-up at the beginning of the performance, and it will definitely make the concert climax in the middle and late stage of the performance. Then the title song of the new album, Gorgeous Adventure. The animation of the train passing by was released on the background screen. The concepts of "train" and "adventure" seem to continue the theme of the single version of "The Meaning of Travel", but interestingly, album version's "The Meaning of Travel" changed "train" to "locomotive". In addition, in order to match the lyrics of Starry Sky, Chen Qizhen also opened the mechanism on her skirt. There used to be many small light-emitting devices (light bulbs? ), just like the shining stars in the night sky.

After singing four songs in a row, Chen Qizhen finally stopped to say hello to everyone, and then sang a series of songs such as "Flower Attitude", "Self" and "Angel". The English rock work "Self" is actually very close to the style of Chen Qizhen when he was a guitarist, but the difference between "Gorgeous Adventure" and "Guitarist" is that most of the lyrics of the latter are very self-projecting and straightforward, such as the sentence "Because for a short second, even for a short second, it's like holding him" in Guitarist. I love you, and I use all my beautiful imagination, even if I share it with others. However, the lyrics in the album Gorgeous Adventure are very abstract. There is no doubt that these lyrics also describe her own sentimental heart, but the lyrics like "I made up a lie with the truth, and I guessed the world with the broken" ("Self") may not arouse fans' emotions as easily as the lyrics in "Guitarist". Of course, another reason that can't be ignored is that "Guitarist" was an album three years ago after all, and some songs in it must have been "revisited" by some fans to the extent of "knowing it by heart".

As soon as Jian Qi played the prelude of "Tell Me" on the keyboard, she won cheers from the scene. But in the whole process of "flower rot", I don't know if it is to echo the word "rot". Chen Qizhen is rather dull on the stage. Most of the time, she just stood in front of the microphone and sang. It was not until the last two songs of this part, My Pride is hopeless and My Dear Paranoia, that she became active on the stage as an elf and had some interaction with the audience. At this stage, the color and background of the light left a deep impression on people. Including "Lying in Your Wardrobe", the silhouette of Chen Qizhen's side face with a mouthful of "exhaling" lyrics appeared on the screen, and the video of Chen Qizhen walking among the flowers in vilen in "The Attitude of Flowers".

Act II-Rebirth of Flowers

The second part of the concert "The Rebirth of Flowers" really has the meaning of "rebirth" for the scene. In this link, Chen Qizhen gradually strengthened the interaction with the audience, and the emotions of the fans were completely mobilized, and the scene almost boiled to the end.

The connection between "decay" and "rebirth" is a video of Chen Qizhen coming home. In the video, when Chen Qizhen walked into the room and closed the door, Chen Qizhen was already sitting on the sofa, pulling open the lamp and saying, "Welcome to my living room" (the next day's line was "Welcome home, it's rare for so many guests to come to my home for two consecutive days").

But at this point, Chen Qizhen obviously has not yet entered the best state. First, he plays "Jiufen Coffee Shop", and every time he changes chords, it always gives people a feeling of sneak shots. This was originally a slow song that touched me very much, a very melodious and brisk folk song, but at the scene, at least it didn't bring me into the atmosphere that the song should have, which may be the only failure of the two-day performance. Second, in the performance on the 30th, a fan shouted, "Chen Qizhen, you are so cute." However, when Chen Qizhen heard this sentence, he just paused, made no response, and directly introduced the band to the stage as planned.

After the band returned to the stage, several people sat around the sofa and played a waltz-rhythm "Rain End" and an original version of "Minuet" with the built organ as the introduction. Next, we went to the guest session. On the 29th, Mayday appeared, and Chen Qizhen sang Together with You and Ending Loneliness. Mayday stayed on the stage and sang their work Sea of Life alone. The guest performer on 30th is Jonathan Lee. The appearance of two groups of guests was the turning point of the performance. Their jokes with Chen Qizhen on the stage and their stage experience quickly mobilized the atmosphere under the stage. For example, Mayday hinted on the stage that he was a rare visitor to Chen Qizhen's Living Room, while some people (referring to her boyfriend Tiger) were frequent visitors, making Chen Qizhen laugh on the sofa. In the third film "Flowers Bloom", the atmosphere at the scene began to go crazy. In the first song "Children", Chen Qizhen led everyone to clap their hands together, and then in "Three o'clock in the afternoon", the bubble machine started to operate, and bubbles danced everywhere in front of the stage, which coincided with this lovely song. Speaking of "female stars", God, all the fans at the scene were shocked. Chen Qizhen actually walked up to the audience and sat in the back of the chair (reserved position) singing. The audience nearby shook hands with her crazily. The security guard must be nervous.

Then the concert was completely spent in the climax. The "original starting point" of rural style shows the old video of Chen Qizhen's "still lonely" period on the big screen. This exciting feeling is what I feel every time I sing this song in a performance in Chen Qizhen, but I must be completely moved again every time. I noticed that Chen Qizhen started with this song, and tears of excitement, emotion and complexity began to swirl in his eyes.

"1234567" brought a unique scene to the concert. With the lyrics "One two three four five six seven, count to three, la-la-la, collect your photos and observe your room", Chen Qizhen took out his camera and held it high as a hint to the fans. From here until the end of this song, fans can take out their cameras, turn on the flash and take photos at will. I sometimes think that Chen Qizhen is really a big shot without a big shelf! The following "Let Me Think" and "Still Lonely", the atmosphere is as lively as a big Party, the jumping rhythm of "Let Me Think" and the performance of "Still Lonely" by Chen Qizhen and the band on the stage. As long as Chen Qizhen stops, the fans at the scene can tacitly make up "Don't be careful about me, don't let me underestimate you". Chen Qizhen said that this was the last song of the concert, then said goodbye to everyone and left the stage. I don't believe there will be any reward for such a good atmosphere.

Return part-"unwilling to let go, unwilling to let you go"

Everyone clapped their hands in order, waiting for Chen Qizhen to return. Taiwan Province audience shouted Chen Qizhen's name in Mandarin, and Hong Kong fans were not to be outdone. They shout once in Hong Kong Putonghua and once in Cantonese from time to time. Without keeping the fans waiting long, Chen Qizhen and the band came back riding motorcycles and wearing helmets. This is Chen Qizhen's style in the MV The Meaning of Travel. In the performance on the 30th, some spectators even brought their own safety helmets, and a row of six or seven people put them on at the same time to echo Chen Qizhen. After the performance, someone asked me where to buy a helmet. It seems that Chen Qizhen has led the new fashion after mushroom heads and jeans. ...

The Meaning of Travel is an introductory song that makes me like Chen Qizhen, so I have special feelings for this song. I almost cried when I suddenly heard this song released by a record store in Taipei. On the one hand, I feel that a serious musician like Chen Qizhen finally has a place in the chaotic pop music world, and I am very moved by her efforts. Therefore, although Chen Qizhen burst into tears when she sang this song in two performances, I never believed that it was a tearful "performance". Because the frenzied atmosphere and the picture sense of the songs are already the best reason for people to pour out their hearts.

In the second scene, when Chen Qizhen finished singing "The Meaning of Travel", the fans began to boo. Fans began to shout "Kiss, Kiss" and asked Chen Qizhen and Tiger to kiss on the spot. Compared with singing "Jiufen Coffee Shop", Chen Qizhen has obviously entered the performance state at this time. Although I was a little at a loss at first, I finally said, "Thank you, thank you for making me stop crying." In one sentence, the "unreasonable" investment of fans has been skillfully turned into laughter.

Later, after a song "Cool You", Chen Qizhen returned to the scene for the second time with the cries of fans. This time, she just continued her usual pattern, giving small performances on campus, bars and other places. She sang a single "After 17" and a song "Every Day is Practice" (in Guitarist).

The real difference between the two fans is Chen Qizhen's second return, but it doesn't mean that the fans in the first scene are not enthusiastic, because Chen Qizhen has been singing for two and a half hours, so please understand her voice. In any case, in the second game, the fans were crazy, and everyone stood up, not to leave, but one after another, Chen Shouting Qizhen, unwilling to let her go (many people shouted "overtime").

The last 10 minute of the second scene is believed to be an unforgettable scene for all the people present. Chen Qizhen really came out with the band again, holding hands and bowing to the fans under the stage to thank them collectively. Later, accompanied by the tiger, Chen Qizhen returned to the scene for the third time and sang "Too Smart"! Chen Qizhen sat on the edge of the stage, waving and singing with everyone. This scene still lingers in my mind. How happy I am to be a fan of Chen Qizhen! We never complain about "too much", but "too little". Please forgive us greedy fans.
