Shutter speed of basketball game photography

Is basketball indoor? Take some photos outdoors during the day. If it's all dark during the day, it's broken. Maybe it's a photoreceptor, maybe a shutter, maybe an aperture. It needs to be inspected by the manufacturer.

If basketball is indoors, it is ok to shoot during the day, that is the problem of setting. Since you bought a SLR to learn photography knowledge, don't use any self-contained mode to shoot sports in low light. You need a large aperture to capture the moment of motion with a manual gear.

Jumpers have no chance. Does the fixed focus 50 1.8 have a motor? Why not buy a 35 1.8 one? It's good to take close-ups under the basket.
