origin

Dragon Boat Festival is one of the traditional festivals in China, also known as Dragon Boat Festival, to commemorate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan. According to legend, Qu Yuan was a minister of Chu. Because he was loyal to the country, he was framed by corrupt officials and finally threw himself into the river. In order to prevent fish and shrimp from eating his body, people put a lot of zongzi on the river.
