Who is the author of "Big Eyes Eager to Read"?

It is the photographic work of China Youth Daily reporter Jie Hailong.

1983, Su Mingjuan was born in zhang wan Village, Lingtao Township, Jinzhai County, Anhui Province. His father Su Liangyou is 42 years old and his mother Zhong is 4 1 year old. My parents make a living by fishing, raising silkworms, raising pigs, farming and growing chestnuts. This family leads a hard and simple rural life.

1991may, 7-year-old Su Mingjuan was a first-grade student in zhang wan primary school. Jie Hailong, a photojournalist of China Youth Daily, went to Jinzhai County to interview and shoot Project Hope, and went to more than a dozen villages. Finally, he came to zhang wan Primary School and found Su Mingjuan in the classroom. A pair of "big eyes" that can especially represent the children in poor mountainous areas who are eager to learn took his shot. This picture shows a little girl with a pencil tip in her hand. Her big eyes look straight ahead and she is thirsty for knowledge. Once published, the photo titled "I want to go to school" was quickly reprinted by major domestic newspapers and became the propaganda symbol of China Hope Project, and Su Mingjuan also became the image representative of Hope Project.
