Reflections on Andersen's Fairy Tale Little Klaus and Big Klaus
If anyone in the fairy tale race is a fierce and cunning undertaker, it must be Klaus Jr., the male master of this fairy tale. Strangely, however, we don't have much ill feelings towards a cruel, vicious and cunning villain. Not only did he have no ill feelings, but he had an impulse to clap his hands and applaud his "cleverness" to the extreme.
Then why is this happening? Are our readers all over the world so dependent on the distinction between good and evil? Not exactly. The reason for this phenomenon is very simple, that is, the enemy of Little Klaus, Big Klaus, is also an out-and-out villain.
Every time Klaus and Klaus meet, everything he says is heroic and unquestionable. Compared with his rhetoric, his behavior is more decisive and calm. For example, in Little Klaus, he didn't listen to dissuasion and shouted "My five horses! Do it well! " As soon as he tied the horse post, he smashed the head of little Klaus' only horse; When he was enchanted by little Klaus and killed several of his cows, and was frustrated in selling cowhide in the street, he cut an axe on the head of little Klaus' late grandmother.
Compared with the aggressive force of big Klaus, little Klaus is weak and gives in, but his speech is slow and well-founded. He is good at grasping people's weaknesses, taking advantage of the situation, bullying and luring and other insidious means to maximize his own interests.
He always avoids conflicts with people from the good side, so he often appears humble and passive to Nuo Nuo, which is called "pretending to be a grandson" in our adjectives. But he has a unique skill, which is to deceive people with lies. His unique skills gave him the upper hand in the battle with his opponents and made a lot of money.

He used the weakness of the farmer's wife to entertain the village priest behind her husband's back, so as to cheat the farmer and blackmail the priest. He took advantage of the hotelier's temper and recklessness, used his dead grandmother as a disguise, and blackmailed the hotelier for a bucket of money; He also used the desire of the white-haired old man who drove cattle to go to heaven, and used the bait that he could go to heaven immediately to let the old man get into the bag and drown himself. He took the old man's cow; Finally, he took advantage of the greed of Big Klaus and threw Big Klaus into the river and drowned without any effort.
In a place where I don't know when and where, there lived two people named Klaus. They fought to the death for vanity and more benefits. In the end, one of them got a lot of money through his evil deception and fraud. And the other person ended up with the consequences of family destruction and money. This is the story that Master Andersen told us.
Speaking of which, I seem to see Master Andersen staring at watery blue eyes and asking us, "Are these the results you want to see?"
When I was a child, I found this fairy tale very interesting, especially when little Klaus was peeling the horse's skin and told the farmer that it was the part where the magician was talking. Looking back at this fairy tale now, I find that the world it describes is simply dark. Full of deception and violence, life is like dirt, and faith is like dirt. People value money and wealth more than anything else. For example, when Big Klaus heard that Little Klaus' grandmother's body sold for a good price, he immediately went home and hacked her to death to sell money.
The only warm color in the whole fairy tale is that little Klaus' grandmother died. He took her to his bed and slept in the chair because he wanted her to wake up. However, this only warm color was soon cut off from Siberia by the big Klaus who broke in late at night. What causes these people to be so unruly and cruel?
I think if Rousseau, the French enlightenment thinker, was asked to answer this question, he would definitely say:
"No matter what you do, the people of any country can only be caused by the nature of their political axe; Therefore, in my opinion, the big question of' what is the best political axe' is such a question: what kind of political axe can naturally produce the most moral, cheerful and intelligent people, in short, the best people-the word "excellent" here is the broadest sense. " (On Social Contract)
However, it is impossible for jean jacques Rousseaux to make any comments on Andersen's works, because Rousseau lived decades before Andersen.
