Hotel wedding photography skills

Wedding is a religious ceremony or a legal notarization ceremony. Its significance lies in gaining social recognition and blessing, preventing bigamy, helping newlyweds adapt to new social roles and requirements, and preparing to assume social responsibilities. The following are my photography skills about hotel weddings, as follows:

1, control exposure

The lighting at the wedding banquet is chaotic and changes greatly, so it is very important to control the exposure and light. This requires the photographer to test in advance according to the brightness of the scene light and master the approximate parameters. If you capture some beautiful moments, such as the bride walking to the groom accompanied by her father, the bride and groom exchanging rings and drinking a glass of wine, etc. You are sure to make a creative film. Before, you can remind couples to do some important actions slowly, although sometimes it is really slow, which is conducive to capturing wonderful moments. You can also make a snapshot list.

2. Details of still life shooting

In addition to capturing the happy moments of the couple, we also need to shoot some details of the wedding scene. At the wedding scene, the arrangement of flower arches, carpets, flowers, wine glasses and wedding candy is exquisite. On the wedding day, many flowers were arranged at the venue. Champagne towers, candlesticks, bouquets, corsages, rings and other small objects and details are the necessary list for wedding shooting, and also the place to shine.

3. Selection of aperture and shutter speed

Wedding scenes usually contain passionate love and deep feelings. At the shooting scene, photographers will take more close-ups of the groom, bride and their parents, and take big photos or group photos of their relatives and friends. Here, it is full of deep feelings, happiness, emotion and happiness. ...

When shooting close-up portraits, try to set the aperture below F4 and F2.8, which will highlight the theme of the characters and blur the background. When shooting a group of people or a big scene, using a smaller aperture such as f/8 can provide a greater depth of field and ensure that people in each position are clear.

When shooting indoors, due to the dim light, if you don't use the flash, be careful not to set the shutter speed too low, and it is best not to be lower than 1/80 seconds when taking pictures with your hand.

4. ISO setting of sensitivity

During the wedding ceremony, you will encounter different kinds of light, which requires setting different ISO parameters. In the outdoor scene with bright light, you can choose low ISO, and you can choose 100 or even lower 50, so that you can take more delicate photos. If the environment of hotels and new houses is dark, higher ISO is needed, such as 800, 1250 and so on.
