Legend has it that after Bai Niu came to Fidelity with Lan Dalang on his back, he became a hero, pampered all day long, unwilling to be lonely, and often went to neighboring villages to steal wheat at night. Worried about being found at dawn, I turned to the stone chicken on Jinji Mountain to help keep watch and let it crow loudly at dawn to remind myself to go home quickly. But one day, there was lightning and thunder on Jinji Mountain, and a loud noise shattered the pheasant, and it never crowed again. Shi Niu had to go home early when it was dark. Before he got to the village, he accidentally stepped on the air and got stuck in the mud. He couldn't stand up anymore and became a stone cow.

Today, there are still deep cow footprints on the slate next to "Stone Niu Shan". Shi Niu was lying quietly in a pool of green water, and the cow's back was engraved with poems, and his handwriting was illegible. It is said that once someone has read all the poems, Shi Niu will come back to life.

There are two stone archways at the eastern end of the village, both of which are Xiao Jie Square. One of them was built in the first year of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty, to commemorate the virgin Zhang of Lan family. The other was built in the 12th year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty to commemorate Li E, the daughter of Lan family. The structure of four pillars and three doors, simple and dignified modeling, exquisite stone tablets and dragon and phoenix relief around the word "imperial edict" give people a solemn and lofty feeling.

There are still many ancient buildings and streets in the village during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
